Dr Ahmed and his team are not ethical individuals and lack professionalism. For example one of there patients taking immunotherapy treatment was hospitalized for a week. Doctors in the hospital could not reach either doctors so a series of unnecessary tests where administered and added to the hospital stay. 2 weeks later and after several messages to the doctor, we still have been unable to reach the specialist.

If you are ready to go 6 foot under, this is your doctor! Beware! He does not care about his patients, his bedside manners are horrible! He needs to leave El Centro. Doctors like him shouldn’t be practicing. My brother went to him being a cancer victim complaining about his throat a few times & unable to swallow choking frequently. Dr looked at his chart threw it down & said to make an appointment in 6 mo. Literally rushed out the door!! He’s tired of hearing about his throat problems. Brothers wife was astonished with his behavior and made an appointment in San Diego with a cancer doc. Bloodwork was done among other tests same day & doc asked him to stay an extra day to start treatment ASAP! YES my poor brother was diagnosed with multiple myeloma!!!! Dr in San Diego is awesome, had he waited to see doctor Ahmed 6 months later, he would be dead. This is the type doctor El Centrans have to deal with cause there is no other. He’s not deserving of even 1 star!! Dr Ahmed needs give Up his practice, leave El Centro no human deserves to be disrespected & not listen to his patients complaints of health issues & not taking tests finding a resolution to cure the disease. I DO NOT RECOMMENDED THIS DOCTOR!!! El Centro needs a better oncologist!!

Dr. Ahmed makes you feel like you are his only patient! He makes you feel very comfortable so that you can talk to him freely about your condition. He also tells you everything you will experience if you have a proceedure in hi office. I would recommend him without hesitation!

Dr. Ahmed treated me for my Cervical Cancer, along with Advantage Radiology. They did an awesome job. I was cancer free for 8 years. They were like family to me. Dr. Ahmed didn't want me to leave his office after being released from treatments ( after 5 years). He told me I should keep seeing him. Dr. Ahmed cares for his patients.

73-year mother was referred to Dr. Syed Hasnat Ahmed, MD, PhD. Mother had been operated in mid 2008 for cancer in the liver. UCSD Medical Centers, San Diefo, CA did a very fine job. They tried everything that was possible. Unfortunately they only removed a portion of the cancerous tumor. Dr. Ahmed took over on 8-7-2008 when he first saw Mom. Under his case, Mom's tumor grew up to 50% of the size of Mom's liver. Dr. Ahmed NEVER PUT HER ON ANY CANCER TREATMENT. On 11-24-2009, he saw Mom for the last time. Mom was dying, yet he did not do nothing. I took Mom to the Yuma Regional Medical Center where they did their best to keep Mom alive. She die on 1-22-2009. The California Medical Board has been notified. I don't understand Dr. Ahmed's gross negligent medical actions, nor I understand why he wrote on 11-24-2009, that NO RESECTION was attempted at UCSD. He need to review all of the UCSD medical reports he got. UCSD received ZERO reports from Dr. Ahmed
