It felt like I was dismissed after the doctor met me for a consultation. He asked about my sunscreen use and commented twice about using sunscreen. I felt he was disgusted with me and said he doubted I was a good candidate for therapy. I was there for a lung mass, not associated with any skin condition. My hope for more progress with my 2 year bout of stage 4 lung cancer was dashed. He was going to consult with colleagues after a cursory visit. He had my history; why did I have to show up? He knows more about my cancer and rare immune therapy than my oncologist?

Dr. Khan is smart and shares information readily. The people who work at the Genesis Clinic in El Segundo make this process easy for the patient. They treat patients like human beings. And -- the parking at the El Segundo Clinic is so easy!

Dr, Khan has a great approach to patient communications, and had a GREAT staff, from front reception, to the medical practitioners who do the radiation stuff, and the supports nurses.. If you have to have it, get your help here..

Dr. Khan & Staff were terrific in providing me with the radiation therapy I needed after my prostate cancer operation. Their positive attitude and friendly atmosphere made it easy for me to get into their therapy program and stay with it for 8 weeks.

Dr. Khan oversaw a 30 treatment sequence. He was kind, very informative and took all the time with us we needed.

I am a 77 year old male. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 carcinoma of the prostate gland 12 years ago. I received radiation and lupron postoperative treatment. About 3 years ago my PSA levels began to rise indicating I had a probable micrometastasis. A PET scan at UCLA hospital found a 0.5 mm focus of probable micrometastasis in my L! vertebrae. A MRI exam confirmed this finding. Dr. Khan and his wonderful team just finished 5 10 minute sessions with his linear accelator. I am now waiting for my next PSA and expect it to be 0 or at least on its way to 0. I have no adverse symptoms 4 days after completing my therapy. thank God for this technology and experts like Dr. Khan!!!
