Excellent doc... fixed my trigger finger with a painless quick surgery....
Did thumb surgery for me but couldn't get in for 3 weeks for a hand problem and no cancellation list- not impressive patient consideration
I found Dr. Halikis to be very capable and efficient in analyzing my hand problem. However, I was not happy with the fact that I was called into his office very soon after arrival, and I was then put in a room for 45 minutes! Also I was prescribed an anti-inlammatory for my condition. When I went to the pharmacy, they advised me to contact the office as there was an possibility of internal bleeding in conjunction with another medication I am taking. I relayed the info to his voice mail, and they never returned my call! Not good!
Doctor Halikis is top notch and I would highly recommend him. The staff at coastal orthopedic is horrible and he needs his own office with a personable front desk staff. The front desk spends too much time on cell phones and is very rude when asked questions.
I had a ruptured bicep tendon and Dr. Halikis surgically repair the damage. His skills are unmatched and I highly recommend him for your hand, arm and shoulder needs.
I am a retired orthopedic surgeon so when I developed Dupuytren's contracture of my left hand I wanted a "top notch" hand surgeon to evaluate and treat it. I chose to see Dr. Nicholas Halikis and I have been very pleased with his evaluation and explanation of the condition and the treatment options. I had the Xiaflex injection into the contracture and it has been successful in stabilizing and improving the condition. I am grateful to Dr. Halikis and would certainly recommend him to anyone needing evaluation or treatment of a hand condition.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
