Made an appointment to get tested for strep. They called me in 25 mins after my appointment. The nurse did a good and quick job, taking temp and swab and said the dr will be right with me. Results were available in the Sutter app 10 mins later. An hour later the dr never showed up so I just got up and left.

I visit the Sutter Urgent Care in Elk Grove, CA with excruciating pain in neck and arms, down to my numbed fingertips from working at home since the pandemic. I was greeted with a smile from the time I arrived. As I described my dilemma with the nurse, I felt heard. When the doctor arrived, I provided more detail information in order to treat my problems. My concerns were immediately addressed with the proper treatment. I received a referral to physical therapy (PT) following a prescription from doctor of inflammatory to assist with the discomfort, PT appointment same week. This was a Great visit with immediate response. Very satisfied with all urgent care workers.

The staff and Dr. Askew are amazing and provided with great service. The order of tests was quick and efficient and then receiving an immediate phone call with positive results was very above and beyond. Thank you so much for your support!

They are by appointment only so I walked in at 4:13 and they told me they could see me at 4:45 so I sat and waited. I was not seen until almost 6:45 and it felt extremely rushed. I kind of expected it to be rushed because it is an urgent care and they were very busy but I don’t think that enough questions were asked by the doctor and I don’t think enough time was given to figuring out how to help me. I was essentially given the bare minimum and sent on my way after waiting for over 2 hours. Next time I think I’ll just go to the emergency room. The wait is just as long but I feel way more cared about there.

Recently moved to Elk Grove I fell and hurt my glutenous maxi mus (Right side of my butt) 2 days ago. Have been icing it and getting no better. live just a few blocks away so I went there at 1:20 this afternoon. They refused to see me because I am not a Sutter patient. I have medicare and can go anywhere. Another reason not to join Sutter.
