Laseraway Emeryville's Online Review Report Card

As my first time visiting Laseraway in Emeryville. I have nothing but positive things to say. Number one as soon as I walked in the girls greeted me with a beautiful smile (Mimi, Esmeralda, Haley, Gali, Crystal) Gave me a tour introduced me to the nurses. They answered all my questions I had regarding facials. It feels safe comfortable and fun all at the same time ! Thank you Mimi you are amazing!

Struggle with chin hair did a full cycle took 2 years before maintenance was needed. Appointments are always quick the nurses and staff are always super nice and friendly.

Esmeralda's the best! Great customer service. It feels like community here ☺️

Crystal, Betty, Esmeralda, Gali, and Mimi were some of the best humans, client facing professionals, and conversationalists I have met in this entire half of the Bay. Extremely kind, professional, and thorough! Thank you for all of the lovely chats during my sessions! Will definitely return for the maintenance of y'alls hardwork!

I hope you read this before you lose your money... DON'T BELIEVE THEIR PROMISES!!! Galilea, Mimi, and Alejandra's care is exceptional, without a doubt. But when I mentioned to the manager that we haven't had positive results after over $8,000 in different treatments in the last months, and I see they've gotten worse (and they have photos and records that my treatments are a disaster), the manager and the two nurses tried to convince me right in front of me--they're seeing that it didn't work! Shame on them!--and were just trying to convince or confuse me. The manager simply brushed it off, saying, "Every body is different, and not all of them work the same." Oh, but they don't tell you that when you ask about their treatments the first time you go. They'll never tell you "it might not work," "it might get worse," or "you'll lose your money." They don't have a plan B to improve the treatment; they just send several employees to confirm what the manager thinks. One employee said stress could be the reason it didn't work. Wow! How can you say such an expensive treatment was ruined by the weather or stress? Another said, "Maybe you're in menopause, and maybe that's why it didn't work; I'm young and still far from menopause. And I thought: what a shameless woman, with no concept of customer service, who's the one feeding you? On top of that, they subject you to "professional nurses via video call," and this was the worst; it made no sense to my situation. There are no professionals there. They just want to confuse you, and they have a track record of five people or employees making you believe their treatments worked, when they have abundant evidence that no treatment worked! They just want your money and couldn't care less about losing three clients overnight. The manager even went so far as to say to my daughter, "So, after six treatments, why didn't you stop if you weren't seeing results?" Hello, you/pro-employees chose those treatments for my daughter's needs-- I thought you all were the professionals and we just put it in your hands. I really don't know how she has that position, how she dared to say that... anyway, they are the NO professionals. And YES, we told them; nurses, hundreds of times it didn't work, and they always used weather and stress as excuses. They're a multi-million-dollar company and they don't care if the customer is happy; they just want to scam you. Once you pay, they don't care if you get positive results or not. I'm so disappointed with this place! Terzatepide, microneedling, Clear & Brilliance are treatments that had no effect on my daughter or me, and even made us worse. Don't buy them here! That's my best advice. Look elsewhere where the priority is to deliver the benefits they promise their customers. Suing is my only options now.

Really sweet staff

I’m very disappointed with the way my friend was treated at LaserAway by Galilea Rios. My friend arrived just 5 minutes late to her appointment, yet was made to wait an additional 17 minutes before being seen. Despite this, Galilea refused to complete the full upper body treatment that was scheduled and only did her face. The experience felt dismissive and unprofessional. We expected better service and respect, especially after making the effort to still show up despite running slightly behind. This is not how clients should be treated.
