CEP America: Medical fraud and corrupt billing practices LLC. Companies like this are what is wrong with America's health care system. The hospital outsources their physicians to this company which claims to have no say in what the physician charges. The physicians claim they have no say in what they charge, so there's no accountability, then they sic the collection agencies on you.

This is a real service, I work in employee benefits and know this is a genuine billing administrator. With my personal bill that was 10 days from being sent to collections because my ER doc billed separately from the hospital.Consumers should ALWAYS contact their insurance company if you get a separate bill from your hospital bill. You may need to re-bill let the insurance company help you!I am only giving them 1 star because of their long phone wait times, and tedious call tree.

I had to call this company 3 times today, each time, the wait is 20-25 min, the phone was disconnected the 2nd time. They billed the wrong ICD10 code, my insurance did not cover, instead communicating with the insurance company, they bill the patient, and have the patient do their job. Not professional.

Thanks for sending me to debt collection without sending notification of any bill at all! They sent me to collections for an ER visit I did A YEAR A GO. Looks like they do this on purpose. Screw the insurance! Let's not bill them either and just leave you high and dry!

I'm pretty sure this is a scam, got a final notice bill without any previous interactions, letters, reciept detail for what I owe. Just a single page saying owe almost $100 but it needs my address and things when I went to look at it online. I am not providing my card information online.

I paid my account in full with a one time payment on 11/20/18. I am now in collections as the "medical billing company" CEP America is apparently completely incompetent.

today I received in the mail a collection noticed from Wakefield and Associated stating that I owed CEP America California?? I have never received a bill from CEP and haven't used their services. I noticed others have received something similar, what did you do?

The book keeping systems here are awful. I called and asked what my total payout was and thoughts this was closed. Never received a statement from that payment, and next thing I know I receive a note from a collections agency.
