Ashley is absolutely amazing and knowledgeable. I am very glad to know such amazing professional. Adriana from front desk was really nice to talk to. Thank you so much for your service!
Absolute amateur hour at the front desk. Rhonda the office manager talks down to you and then hangs up on you when she doesn't like your tone. It's been three months and my pharmacy calls repeatedly to their office to have my prescription filled as was authorized by their medical personnel, but the front desk refuses to call back and refuses to take responsibility for it. I previously gave a very good review because Jack Sharkey is an excellent practitioner, but unfortunately Their support staff is hideous. It's straight out malpractice not reply to pharmacies and then they claimed they don't have it on their call. Log as if they know what number the pharmacy is calling from absolute nonsense. Do not go here. Find a reputable dermatologist. I am definitely making a claim on to the medical board.
Have had extractions done by California Skin Institute at the Sunnyvale and Mountain View locations in Northern California in the past. Decided to make an appointment since moving down to San Diego. In the past my extractions have been covered by insurance, would go once every two weeks. Well that is no longer the case for whatever reason so I paid for the treatment. Jack spent 5 minutes doing extractions and was charged $190. Rather disappointed at my experience considering I have had phenomenal results and procedures done at the offices in Norcal. Will not be returning.
Good service, very friendly staff and scheduling was easy through the website.
I’ve been coming here for fifteen years, so when Dr Tsu retired, I was nervous about seeing a new doctor, but I’ve gotten to know and trust Dr Sharkey over the last few years. He and his team are absolutely wonderful, their office is clean and comfortable, and they consistently make me feel deeply cared for. Thank you Dr Sharkey and team❣️
Everyone at this office is nice, professional and welcoming
Ashley is great. Very caring.
Ashley Dominique is absolutely incredible! My father came to her after struggling with a stubborn skin condition and getting nowhere with other doctors. She was the only one who truly listened and figured out what was going on. She’s so kind, patient, and knowledgeable—you can tell she genuinely cares. She kept me updated every step of the way and even went out of her way to communicate with my other doctors to make sure he got the best care. I’m so grateful we found her—she’s truly one of a kind! Couldn’t recommend enough! 5/5 stars!
Such a great experience here! The front desk was very kind and I felt comfortable in the space despite being more of an anxious patient.
Dr Jack was awesome for my annual skin check. What a great team. Highly recommend.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
