I have seen Dr. Krishna for many years. As a long-time melanoma survivor, I need a dermatologist I can trust with my life. Dr. Krishna is that person for me. When my daughter Ali, 44 years old, had a pilar cyst that was embarrassing her, I knew just who to call. Ali has Down Syndrome so I wanted someone I knew would treat her with gentle kindness. With no prompting from me, Dr. Krishna and her staff spoke directly to Ali and treated her with the respect she deserves. Not one person turned away from her to address me. If you have a person with special needs in your life, you will understand how precious and how rare this is. Dr. Krishna made certain Ali understood everything that was happening and exactly what to expect. As you can tell from the photo, she came away from the procedure feeling like a new woman. I can never thank this team enough for everything they have done for my family and me. I enthusiastically recommend Pacific Coastal Dermatology for whatever you need. You simply won't find a more skilled or compassionate team.

I recently made an appointment for a full body scan. Dr was 10 min late without apology or acknowledgment. She came in smacking her lips chewing gum, a little aloof. She go down to business. scanned me. It was all very clinical, unfriendly and not gentle. Disappointing given all the great reviews that are posted. I won’t go back.

Coastal Pacific Dermatology is the best dermatology practice in North County! Dr. Sheila Krishna is amazing!!! She literally cured my psoriasis after my first visit by prescribing a new cream that she was aware of but other practices never shared with me! Dr. krishna is a rock star of her field! She is a double board certified Microscopic (MOHS) Surgeon who graduated from MIT and UCLA and has been voted Top Doc, Rising Star and other awards too many to mention! She has been practicing in North County for ten years and loves the area and the people’. She is particularly good with children, teens and older adults. Her friendly, caring and patient demeanor is so refreshing!!! But the best thing about this practice is you don’t have to wait months and months to be seen for a unexpected skin or rash issue. Usually, depending on the urgency, you can get in a day or so after you call. No practice in North County does that!! Another great thing about this practice is the time spent with Dr. Krishna is relaxing snd never hurried! She answers all your questions and never makes you feel rushed. I am thrilled to have found this practice and highly highly recommend it!

Paid $220 to see the doctor for about 5 minutes. She quickly and incorrectly concluded that the skin condition I was suspicious of was not the case. I’ve since seen a different dermatologist that helped me figure out the real issue by listening to my concerns without rushing me. The doctor also failed to mention that the pathology would be an additional $330. My apologies if this is supposed to be assumed, but I don’t have any experience with this, it should have been mentioned. I also never received a call to go over the results of this $330 test. Only a PDF emailed with technical medical jargon from the lab. Had to plug it into Chat GPT just to make sense that the results came back all clear. Office staff was very nice and helpful. I would not go here again and not recommend this doctor. Strange, seeing as all other reviews are great. Maybe this was just an off day for the doc.

Dr. Krishna and her team were able to help me with a really upsetting issue, reassured and treated me with kindness, dignity, and joy. I highly recommend their practice not only for medical skill but for a warm, welcoming and solution oriented environment.

Dr Krishna is very much an expert with great knowledge and a big heart. She helped me in the Christmas and New Year’s holidays when 2 other doctors and an emergency room at a major excellent hospital couldn’t help me. She doesn’t waste time —my time or hers either. I enthusiastically recommend her.

Dr. Krishna gets 100 stars! She helped me reverse 30 years of sun damage!! I had multiple dark spots on my face and it seems I bought everything available over the counter, but nothing ever worked! Not only did the dark spots disappear but my skin is brighter and more supple and young-looking. I know I sound like an infomercial but this I am a walking testament for Dr. Krishna's specialty! Note: absolutely no filter used on the before and after photos.
