Dr. Duck has been my primary doctor for approximately 8 years. I have found him to be a helpful doctor with a straightforward approach, which I appreciate. I would recommend him to anyone.

Stay away from this guy. I am a retired Professor who had joint appointments in the depts of surgery, medicine, and physiology at the University of California. During the course of my career I conducted basic research in cell and molecular biology and held a Distinguished Professorship. Consequently I have interacted with (and taught) many physicians and scientists throughout my career.Because my primary care provider retired I needed a new primary care physician. I chose "Dr." Duck and what a mistake. On my first visit he was unbelievably condescending and arrogant. Because one of my liver enzymes was slightly elevated Dr. Duck decided that I was "alcohol dependent" and proceeded to enter that diagnosis in my medical chart He never told me he was going to do this and I only found out upon a subsequent visit to another specialist physician who pointed out the fact on my medical chart. I reiterate, I have met "Dr." Duck only one time. How he could conclude that I have a problem with alcohol completely eludes me Suffice it to say that I will seek out a new primary care physician. I also am considering filing complaints with both the California Medical Board as well as the University of California, San Diego about his outrageous behavior.

It use to be such a great office. Friendly staff, Drs who would spend time with you. Now their staff are rude, short and will tell you go somewhere else when you call them out. They make you see a PA who are not physicians, then when they can’t do there jobs correctly you pay again to see the real Dr. They bill incorrectly, they code wrong, they diagnose wrong. It’s sad. Go to someone who cares. They are not worth the time.

I have had North Coast Family Medical Group, and as my health care provider for almost 30 years, and I feel I get excellent health care. Dr. Duck is caring and efficient, and I always feel like I get whatever is necessary to keep me healthy. If I need an appointment on short notice, they will accommodate me, which I appreciate also.

Dr Duck has been my primary care doctor for many years now. I think he does an excellent job. He is assertive in encouraging me to make positive lifestyle and diet changes. He has a nice and caring demeanor and is very technically competent. Best doctor I have ever had.

We are very happy with the staff as well as Dr.Duck.We never wait long.We find Dr.Duck to be kind and patient.

I've been seeing Dr. Duck for more than 15 years. He has always given me great service and advice. I trust his judgement and highly recommend him.

I called to set up an appointment with Dr. Duck as a new patient since his website said he was accepting new patients. However, I was bluntly told that he was not accepting medicare patients. I am a healthy, very active 70 year old, but I guess getting the last dollar is more important to Dr. Duck than providing care to the older generation.
