List of Gregory Teregis's Reviews
Dr. Teregis has been my personal physician for about 24 years. He always takes time with me and listens. He has always been there when I needed him. I have never had a better doctor in my life.
Dr Teregis is the best and most thorough Doctor I have ever had. He really cares about the well being of his patients. He listens, provides suggestions, and his staff is excellent too. I would recommend him to anyone!
After Dr. Teregis has been my doctor for over 20 years and always provided excellent care.
Best Dr Ever! Took his time, explaining everything he is doing. Made dr visits as fun as they can be. Makes kids comfortable!
Dr. Teregis is a very personable doctor. After being out of the country for some time, I called for a check-up appointment. The message was, "Dr. Teregis is booking out two months." I decided it was important to book, even though the appointment was too far out and in the middle of holidays, which restricted my travel. The day before the appointment, Dr. Teregis cancelled. My next attempt at an appointment followed the exact script, except this time I was ill. I asked about options and was given three: an appointment with the fill-in doctor, a possibility the nurse practitioner might call, and going to Scripps emergency.I think it important for all patients to know this is the Scripps protocol. It differs dramatically from medicine as I know it, but might be highly profitable for Scripps. It appears that you, the patient, must go to Scripps emergency, not your doctor, if you are ill, whether that constitutes an emergency or not. You can also see a fill-in doctor, but these options defeat the purpose of having a doctor who is familiar with you and your history. Medicine of the future?
One of the most comprehensively informed primary care physicians I have ever met. Thinks outside the box when necessary and goes the distance to support his patients.
Dr. T, as he is called by his patients, is a fantastic Dr. I have been seeing him since he started his practice with Scripps Clinic Encinitas 21 years ago. He has a wonderful, caring bedside manner, spends as much time with you as is needed, makes excellent recommendations to specialists, and always reviews your chart before he sees you! I highly recommend Dr. T as a primary care physician, and feel fortunate to have been under his care for so many years. Deborah from Carlsbad
He is a great doctor. He genuinely cares about his patients. He will spend extra time with you. While its difficult at times to get an urgent consult because he's so booked out, he does have a really great Nurse Practitioner on staff with him. He is responsive to email questions through the Scripps portal. Totally trustworthy.
Our family loves Dr. T! He's been my, my husband's, 2 boys and my mother's MD for 21 years. My mother lived to the ripe old age of 102 under his care. Dr. T. is very caring and thorough while keeping a sense of humor which is comforting in those bad times.
Dr. T has been my Primary Care Dr. for at least 25 years. I haven't seen him in the last 5 years because he's never in the office when I need to see him, or his appoint calendar is 3-4 weeks out. Our family is always getting pushed to someone else in his group. By the time he's available, you could be dead if your condition was serious. As a matter of fact, right now, I have been sitting on hold with his office for 15 mins. waiting to book an appointment. Although I do like him when I see him, I would recommend that you look for another doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
