Do not go this this man! Within 12 hours of surgery, I was in excruciating pain. He had no one on call and was unable to be reached. I went to the ER and when they finally reached him, he refused to come see me. Further, he directed the ER staff NOT to remove the dressings. I ended up with serious complications of a vascular compromise requiring hospitalization. I ultimately had to have my finger amputated and have lost grasp function in my hand. I am scheduled for a fourth surgery to attempt to improve damage he caused. I live in constant pain. It has been 5 years and everyday I regret my decision of choosing Dr. Chao. Stay far away from this guy!

Dr. James Chao was the ONLY ANSWER for me! God guiding his hands & mind, he virtually SAVED MY LIFE TWICE, so far. He was the ONLY ANSWER for one daughter also, & we hope now the 2nd daughter! He, Tracy, Indira & whole staff are GIFTS FROM GOD here on the earth!

Dr. James Chao and his entire staff are one of the most professional medical offices. He operated on both my hands so that I could continue to have full use of them. I have know him for many years and have trusted his judgement completely as he always has my best interests at heart.

After I survived breast cancer, Dr. Chao tried and failed THREE TIMES to perform reconstructive surgery. After his third botched attempt, he had to do emergency surgery to remove one of my implants, leaving me with scars, folds, and excruciating pain where my right breast is supposed to be.

Oasis MD and Dr. James Chao were absolutely amazing. I would recommend him to anyone. My results were fantastic and I can honestly say I feel better in my skin now than I ever have in my life. If I ever need any more plastic surgery, he is who I will call. His staff was also extremely amazing. Everyone was helpful, professional, took the time to answer my questions and concerns and always there when I need them.

Dr Chao is a very dedicated and top quality doctor. I would use him and refer my friends and family to him in a minute. He has a passion for teaching and healing like no one I have ever met before. I had two hand surgeries by him and have had great success. Little did I know when I had the first hand surgery that I would go to work for him a year later. I can't believe the reviews I have read in California... They are so far off. Dr Chao is a perfectionist and treats everyone with great compassion. He is extremely intelligent and appreciates everyone from the janitor to the President. We had patients travel from far to see him. He has an understanding of how the body heals that far out weighs others. He likes to use common sense when doing plastic surgery to make the patient look as natural as possible...not fake. If you ever knew him as a human being you would be so amazed at his philosophy of life and helping others.
