Dr Vane is the best dentist, she kind, patient and funny! Love her practice so much!!

There are no words to express how amazing Dr. Nicole Vane is but let me give it a shot.I contacted Dr. Vane through email when I was told by my dentist that I needed a root canal. I'd heard a lot of information about possible long-term health risks associated with root canals so I was pretty upset at the thought of having to have one.Through online research I discovered that laser root canals were a newer and safer option. The only problem was that no dentist or endodontist in Washington state where I live performed them.In my online research, I found Dr. Vane and watched some of her YouTube videos where she explains the difference between a standard root canal and a laser one, along with their benefits. I was impressed with her knowledge and the procedure so I emailed her about my situation, letting her know that I was willing to make the 1,200 mile trip from northeastern Washington to Southern California to have her perform my root canal.Dr. Vane emailed me back immediately, asking to see my x-rays, which I emailed to her. She and her endodontist looked at them and reported back to me in less than 24 hours that they saw no evidence that I needed a root canal. I was beyond relieved!Just to be safe, I decided to have a panoramic x-ray done of the area in question by a local dentist. After reviewing my x-ray and examining the tooth in question, Dr. Vane's conclusion that I did not need a root canal was confirmed by this dentist.Dr. Vane went far above and beyond what I ever expected when I emailed her during a very scary and stressful time for me. Because of her expertise, immediate action, and caring I was spared from having an invasive, unnecessary procedure.Dr. Vane is a gem, and a rarity in the world today! I have already referred several friends to her, and know that if I ever do have to have a root canal, I will be flying down to have Dr. Vane perform it!

So far I have had one scheduled cleaning/exam/xray session and one emergency root canal and crown. So far, so good -- no lingering pain, even right after the novocaine wore off, no complications. Mouths and patients are different, and one person's experience will differ from another's, but I am a satisfied customer.

I had the same issue that another reviewer had. Dr. Vane used temporary cement on a permanent crown and I ended up with an infection, requiring a root canal and a new crown. My endodontist said it is improper protocol to use temporary cement on a permanent crown. Also an ill fitting crown and a lot of pain. It cost me over $5,0o0 to fix the work that Dr. Vane did. I didn't return to Dr. Vane because I was too fearful to allow her to do any further work on me due to her incompetence.

Dr. Vane has been my dentist for three years now. She is the sweetest dentist Ive been to ever. When I needed all my wisdom teeth out, she was able to do it all at the same time with just a few pills on board. I slept through the procedure and did not have swelling or pain after the procedure. All my friends were astonished.
