In January I had a minimally invasive surgery on my right knee to remove tissue that was causing irritation to the joint. Overall... The experience was much smoother than I had anticipated, Dr. Padilla and his staff made the entire process of recovery seamless. Thanks guys.

I received excellent care from Dr. Padilla and his staff. He was thorough in giving me pertinent information and answering my questions. I appreciated that he was always on time. My hand fracture healed properly so I have complete function. Thanks again.

Dr Padilla is an extremely talented and knowledgeable surgeon. I consider myself lucky to have been under his care. I cannot thank him enough for the fantastic surgery and work he had performed on my broken clavicle and shoulder ligament graft. Not only to mention the wonderful staff, physical therapist and nurses working with him at the Encinitas. Amazing team.

I've had two appointments with Dr. Padilla and so far so good. He has listened as well as offered options. I may be in for two knee replacements soon (ouch)

Dr Padilla is very up-to-date on research relevant to my knee issues. I have had him inject my knees with steroid medications several times and when compared to previous experiences with other orthopedists he is far more confident and competent, and creates the least discomfort. He is also very good at just presenting the range of treatment options and facts regarding each without any effort to sway my choices one way or another, for example toward him doing surgery. I have found him straightforward, knowledgeable, competent and honest.

He might be a great surgeon, I don’t know, but I did not have a good experience with him for my minor quad muscle tear. He told me he couldn’t prescribe physical therapy without an MRI, which cost me $270, and then I had to schedule another appointment with him just for him to tell me that physical therapy wouldn’t really help other than speeding the recovery. The whole thing was a big waste of time and money. And he was not easy to talk to at all. Only not giving one star because he may be a good surgeon and so I don’t want to be totally unfair.

Professional, punctual, and takes the time to explain all options. Dr.Padilla is clearly an expert in his field and I trusted him immediately. If you need Ortho surgery, he is the one to contact!
