List of Saad Juma's Reviews
After four years of constant painful infections, Dr. Juma diagnosed me correctly. He works ahead of your problem, I wish more doctors were like him.
I just love Dr Juma, he's so caring, has a great sense of humor and really listens to you.
Didn’t help at all
Dr. Juma took his time with me, thoroughly questioning & listening to be sure of helping me. He is extremely sympathetic and kind. He’s a great diagnostician.
Dr. Saad Juma is one of the greatest Dr. around.Very friendly staff. Always willing to help.
Having recently moved to the San Diego area, I reluctantly had to change doctors. In all of my years of serious medical care, I have never had a doctor like Dr. Juma. He is rude and arrogant. He continually interrupted me while I tried to explain why I was there to see him. He dimissed my former doctors completely as if they were children who couldn’t possibly have any medical experience. It was insulting to me and to my previous doctors. I should have walked away and never looked back but I needed a doctor and answers. He ordered a CT with contrast and then refused to do anything to make it possible. It has been 2 1/2 months! I still don’t have the CT done. Do yourself a favor… find another doctor. I am.
Excellent doctor he knows his stuff
Takes the issues seriously and after going to so many doctors for the issue was finally able to once and for all solve the problem. Dr. Saad Juma is a miracle worker!

I was being treated over several years for enlarged prostrate using standard medication. While my condition seemed stable, Dr. Juma began urging me to have a Urolift operation, while no longer having me fill out the questionnaire that is used to assess the level of the condition. When I took the standard questionnaire on my own, it show my condition to be "minor". After his insistance to do the operation over several successive visits, I consulted with another doctor who is chief of urology elsewhere. He looked at the results of the questionairre, which he said is the most important way to assess, and did an exam. He confirmed my condition to be minor and no operation to be warranted and having an operation would be a big mistake. He also advised me to reduce my medication, saying it might not be needed, which turned out to be accurate. Dr Juma's office had also tried to sell an $80 per month service to remind me of appointments and to take medication, and required 2 visits each 6 months one day apart - first day to do a flow test and 2nd day to review with doctor. Taken all together it seemed as if it he was trying to maximize revenue at my expense, and was not acting in the best interest of the patient. Just so disappointing. Thanks goodness I got a second opinion before agreeing to the operation.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
