Sanjum Samagh's Online Review Report Card

Just completed shoulder ballon arthroplasty with Dr. Samagh and I can't say enough for how pleased I am with the whole experience and the outcome. Btw, this is the 3rd procedure that Dr. S has helped me with (2 knee arthroscopic procedures) and all 3 have been successful. Dr. S spent a significant amount of time evaluating my personal situation and was completely straight forward and honest about what to expect from each procedure. The most recent shoulder surgery has been nothing short of astounding. 5 weeks in and I have full range of motion with very little pain to deal with and getting better and better by the day.Scheduling and his back office employee Kristi have been efficient, professional and attentive from start to finish.Obviously, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Samagh and have recommended him to several friends and family.Thanks again to Dr. S and his staff!!

KRISTI W. greeted me warmly by name and was absolutely fantastic in the front office! What a kind and wonderful office head she is! She is so knowledgeable and it is obvious that she cares, with her amazing friendliness! Dr. SAMAGH Is fabulous! He is so smart and remembers things that I had told him in the past. Dr. Samagh is one I completely trust because he is so knowledgeable. I have been to him many times and always leave feeling like I have been truly helped! He and his whole office is a winner! You will not be disappointed! Excellent care all around! If you want to feel valued and listened to, come to this doctor!

When I walked into Dr. Samagh's office the first time, I noticed a giant map of Mammoth Mountain on the wall. The first thing I said to him was, "I want to be at the top of that mountain next year.". He laughed and said, "no guarantees, but I think we can get you back up there". From there, we went over my MRI, my issues with a labral tear, impingements etc and created a plan working hand in hand with one of the PT's in the area. I had lots of questions and he patiently covered every answer, ending with, "what else do you need to know?" after each answer. I had surgery in Feb 2022 and was in very little pain after. I was able to start hiking again by 8-10 weeks and have spent the entire summer of 2022 traveling all over hiking mountains with little to no pain. I am back to 95% + of where I was and am looking forward to taking that lift up to the top of Mammoth Mountain and sending a little cheers to Dr. Samagh for helping making it happen!

No one answered the phone the first two times I called there's no answering system (no leaving a voicemail, no recording with hours, nothing). When I finally got an answer the receptionist was curt - she seemed upset that I didn't know Dr. Samagh specializes in hips, knees, and shoulders (despite that being nowhere on the website). She asked "which body part?" and I stated that I had a few I had issues with, but "I guess we could start with my back" to which she replied "ok he doesn't do that". Though I have hip and knee issues, as well, there was certainly no need to continue a call with someone who made me feel like a nuisance for trying to find relief for my ailments. Really disappointing, considering the other glowing reviews! Receptionists are the first people patients/customers interact with - having one who is terse isn't great.

Dr Sanjum did a reverse shoulder replacement for me January 2020. My shoulder is fantastic!! No pain and great movement. I have talked to others that have not had good results. Sorry the didn’t use my dr. If you are looking to end your shoulder pain then you should check out dr. Sanjum

I tried months of physical therapy and I had two clean MRI's and my previous orthopedic surgeon had turned me away. Dr. Samagh really listened to me and ended up repairing a labrum tear that was not showing in my MRI. Thanks to Dr. Samagh, I am feeling better than I have in a long time! The recovery has been very smooth. Dr. Samagh listens to you and cares about your progress every step of the way. I highly highly highly recommend him!

Can't thank Dr. Samagh enough! I was told by my Sharp Dr. I could live with it and proceeded to show me how to put a bra on backwards. Their only option for a torn rotator, scar tissue, floating debris, and a enlarged bone shredding by bicep! I am 1 year post surgery back to hardcore workouts and boxing 💪full range and loving life again LIFE CHANGER FOR SURE!

Dr. Samagh and his nurse/office manager, Kristi are the best team - friendly, caring, and know their stuff! I saw Dr. Samagh for a torn rotator cuff and humerus fracture and he walked me through the pros and cons of all available treatments. We landed on surgery, but he was never pushy to get to that option. Every meeting with him was personable and he took his time to answer questions, engage in conversation, and remember personal details we had discussed in prior meetings. I'm 7 weeks out from surgery and doing so much better already! I can hardly see the incision sites and have returned to almost full mobility. I know that with continued physical therapy I'll be back to normal in no time. Thanks Dr. Samagh!
