October 23 2010 I needed a four way by-pass. I was rushed to Valley Presbyterian hospital. I was told that I had a very short time to live. I couldn't have been luckier than having Dr. Malekmehr operate on me. His expertise, and manner resulted in my life being saved. That will be twelve years in October 2022. I think of him often, and have eternal gratitude for his expertise.I continually wish him a long life. Those needing surgery will be lucky to have him operate on them. Thank you Dr. Malekmehr; I will never forget you!!

I saw this doctor in his Santa Clarita office. It is an extremely busy office with multiple practices in one. The doctor spent very little time with me. I chose him because the reviews were good and they accepted my insurance..WRONG! The doctors billing company is claiming that he is out of network when my insurance company has told me the opposite! I think the insurance knows if it is something that they cover, not some 3rd party billing company! Very unhappy with the way this doctor handles his billing. Doctors my be struggling right now but patients are suffering more and we are in need od QUALITY, AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE!

Very clean and well lit office. The front desk staff is prompt and friendly. Restrooms are clean and stocked. Our visit was a short one, but the doctor was friendly and welcoming. They do not validate and parking is a bit spendy, but it comes with the Encino territory. Highly recommend

I usually don't feel the need to type this type of review, but I feel grateful for my experience with Dr. Malekmehr. I was a lung cancer patient, and got lung surgery with Dr. Malekmehr. Not only was he successful in removing the lung cancer, but I was also very pleased with the doctor himself. He explained the procedure in great detail, so when it came time for the surgery, I fully trusted him. He was always on time, and always available when I needed to reach him. When we paged him, he immediately called back. I felt as though he truly cared about my well-being. He checked regularly on how I was feeling the days following the surgery. He visited me in my hospital room, and when I left the hospital, he called me daily. The surgery itself was a great success because it exceeded my expectations. I had a quicker recovery than expected. I was out of the hospital in only 2 days, and in about a week I was able to return to my daily routine. I was also very pleased by the scars left behind--not only were they very small incisions, but they're hardly noticeable. Before the surgery we had been considering several other doctors, but we are very happy to have chosen Dr. Malekmehr among other surgeons. If he has the time to take you for your next cardiovascular procedure, you'd be lucky.
