Hrc Fertility - Encino's Online Review Report Card

My husband and I decided it was time to seek help after multiple losses since 2020. We met with Dr. Peck in March of 2026 and I was immediately shocked. She sat with us for 45 minutes explaining the differences in fertility treatments offered and listening to me while I explained why I felt IVF was the right choice for us. She clearly had read my paperwork in advance and only asked follow up questions, I never felt like I was explaining because she didn't know. It took us several months to get the pre-work and checkups done due to insurance and life, but when we were ready to start the egg retrieval process things went FAST. Our coordinator, Jennifer, was/is AMAZING. She kept up with every detail, answered all my questions, and I never felt like she was rushing me or didn't have time to spend on me despite the clearly busy office. After my retrieval my care took a turn to focus on my recurring losses which felt like a stall but Dr. Peck is the best because she wants to explore all the things and she was right to get more tests and order another procedure. When it came time to transfer, the process was smooth and I felt informed and confident about the process. Unfortunately I had some complications post transfer, Jen and Dr. Peck took my concerns and complications very seriously and adjusted my protocol accordingly. I've very blessed to have had such amazing care and positive results. I'd walk these past 6 years all over again to get here and have had the team I had. Thank you Dr. Peck and Jennifer, from the bottom of my heart. You are both absolutely incredible and thank you doesn't even begin to explain my gratitude.

Had a great infertility consultation with Dr. Handelsman. We learned a lot about the process and infertility in general. His bedside manner was great - we felt comfortable the entire time and all of the staff were very kind to us! We didn't continue with the clinic since we ended up getting pregnant naturally right after the consultation - I joked that Dr. Handelsman was the good luck charm we needed. Thanks, anyway, to the staff and doctor!

I worked with Dr. Peck on my egg freezing cycle along with my coordinator Jennifer Alonzo. My experience was 10/10 overall. The process can be quite confusing and overwhelming but the team made it so streamlined and answered all my questions T anytime. The coordination team made my timelines , appointments process so so easy. Jennifer literally was there for me with all my crazy questions!! Dr. Peck makes you feel at ease during the whole process and is also very direct which I appreciate.

Dr. Woo and her team at HRC Fertility were incredible throughout our entire journey. Dr.Woo is extremely gentle, compassionate, and patient. She took the time to answer all our questions and made us feel supported during a very difficult journey with male factor infertility. We felt truly cared for every step of the way. We're so grateful for our successful transfer and can't recommend HRC Fertility enough to anyone on a fertility journey. We'll always appreciate this team and everything they did for us.

My husband and I had a very positive experience with HRC Fertility Encino. We are truly grateful to Dr. Boostanfar and his team for their care and support throughout the process. What really stood out to us was how closely everything was monitored—my medications were adjusted in real time based on my response, which made me feel very safe and well taken care of. Diana and Mei were extremely responsive and efficient in confirming my medication plan, and they always explained each step clearly, which made the whole process much more reassuring. Their communication was timely, clear, and very helpful throughout. We are very happy with our results and truly appreciate the level of attention and professionalism from the entire team. We would definitely recommend HRC to anyone going through fertility treatment.

I worked with Abby as my nurse coordinator and Dr Tourgeman and had a fantastic experience. Everyone's fertility journey is different, and they handled me with such care and grace. I couldn't recommend HRC Encino enough. I am now sitting at home with my month old baby boy that came from IVF at HRC and just feel so grateful to HRC, Abby, and Dr T for everything. It's all worth it!

Dr. Boostanfar and Sophie were an incredibly hands-on, supportive team, and I truly can’t thank them enough. From our very first consultation, Dr. B made a lasting impression. One of the first things he said to me was, “I don’t believe in unexplained infertility,” and he meant it. He took the time to run thorough testing and was able to identify what was going on. Thanks to him, we are now expecting our baby girl—something we will always be grateful for. Dr. B is everything I hoped for in a doctor and more. He made sure I fully understood every test and procedure, and always kept me informed every step of the way. His level of care and attention is truly unmatched. His team is just as incredible. Sophie was my absolute saving grace throughout this journey. She is patient, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely at ease during every appointment. That meant more to me than I can express. The entire HRC team made such a difference in our experience. The front desk staff was always warm and welcoming, and the phlebotomists were wonderful. Carla and Daisy consistently made my blood draws quick, comfortable, and as painless as possible. I could go on for hours about how much I love HRC, Dr. B, and Sophie. If you’re looking for a fertility doctor who is truly dedicated to helping you achieve your dream of having a baby, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. B. And if you want a clinic that makes you feel supported and at home every step of the way, HRC is the place to go.

The office clinic and staff are amazing. I had a transfer by an outside doctor at this facility. Well, I would not recommend the outside doctor I went to I would recommend this clinic completely. My doctor was inexperienced and after spending two hours in surgery for a mock transfer, trying to reach the fundus... an experienced HRC nurse came out and spoke to my doctor while he was speaking with my husband. In front of my husband, the experienced nurse told my doctor that I needed to be dilated. The same thing my outside doctor was told by an OB/GYN who did my exploratory surgery and hysteroscopy to check for Endo. That ended up being the key to reaching. The nurse was so experienced that she had even known the proper move rather than my private REI with almost 30yrs experience. They were always kind very knowledgeable and communicated better than my REI scheduling the surgery at their office. They treated me with such care/empathy when I woke up after the two hour mock transfer in shock, freezing non controllably shaking. While my REI was not with HRC Encino, my mock and transfer were performed at their facility by an outside doctor. Their doctors at this facility and staff seem very experienced and know what to do from what I witnessed.

Dr Woo is absolutely amazing! She really focused on me and my body, and what would work best for it. She is compassionate AND a type A, which I so appreciated! I can't speak highly enough about her. My first clinic was the exact opposite. Keep advocating for yourself and find someone who asks questions with you. Dr Woo was that for me.

I had a very disappointing experience with HRC Fertility. Unfortunately, they were not helpful at all throughout the process. They kept ordering basic tests that we had already done before at other places for much cheaper. What made it worse was that they never clearly explained the costs beforehand. They billed our insurance immediately for multiple things and also charged us at the time of the visits. Months later, we started receiving additional bills asking us to pay even more out of pocket for the same regular tests. No one warned us that these tests would result in extra charges later. It feels very unfair and misleading. If we had known the real cost in advance, we would have never agreed to repeat those tests there. Overall, it felt like they were more focused on using our insurance and charging as much as possible rather than actually helping us. I would not recommend this clinic based on our experience. Do not waste your time and money here there are multiple better places to have your treatment.
