Ivf Fertility Center's Online Review Report Card

I’m 38 with unexplained infertility and male factor infertility. I started at a local clinic in Portland, Oregon and had a very standard experience: one egg retrieval, generic protocol, and we got 13 mature eggs, 2 blasts, and 0 PGT-A normal embryos. No additional testing or changes were recommended for a second cycle. That’s when I started looking out of state and was referred to Dr. Kuo. This review is not just because I’m now pregnant. Even if I wasn’t, I would be saying the exact same thing about the level of care I received. Dr. Kuo is the most meticulous and detail-oriented doctor I’ve ever worked with. Nothing is brushed off, nothing is “good enough,” and nothing is done just to move things along. He holds himself to an extremely high standard, and you feel that as a patient in every single decision that’s made. It’s very clear that he cares deeply about getting it right, not just getting you through a cycle. Before my second retrieval, he did additional testing on my husband that my previous clinic never even mentioned. We found very high sperm DNA fragmentation, which we treated with three months of Chlomid before moving forward. During my retrieval cycle, I was monitored extremely closely and my protocol was adjusted in real time. The difference in results was honestly shocking. We went from 2 blasts and 0 normal embryos to 21 mature eggs, 9 blasts, and 3 PGT-A normal embryos. Before transfer, he also found a uterine polyp that my previous clinic missed, which I had removed. My first transfer cycle was actually canceled due to bleeding and not being an optimal uterine environment. I fully believe many clinics would have just proceeded anyway. Dr. Kuo did not. We adjusted, waited, and did it right. The second transfer was successful. At 8 weeks pregnant, I had a scary bleeding episode, and this is another area where Dr. Kuo stands out. He was in direct communication with me every few hours for days, giving clear instructions and actually monitoring the situation in real time. I never felt like I was on my own. The communication model is unlike anything I’ve experienced in healthcare. You are in a group text with Dr. Kuo and your coordinator, and you can reach them at any time. That level of access and responsiveness makes an incredibly stressful process feel manageable. The clinic as a whole operates at that same level. Dr. Kuo personally performs every ultrasound and you meet with him at every single appointment. You are seen on time. You are never wondering who you’re going to get or waiting weeks for answers. There is a level of consistency and accountability that is very rare in this field. My coordinator Eliana was amazing. So organized, so calm, and completely on top of everything. Blue, Clarissa, and Lizeth were also incredible. They knew my case, they were involved, and they genuinely cared. It never felt like I was just another patient moving through the system. If you feel like something is being missed, if you’ve had a failed cycle with no real explanation, or if you want a doctor who is actually thinking through your case instead of running a standard protocol, go see Dr. Kuo. Traveling out of state was 100% worth it.

I’m truly grateful for this doctor and the entire team!! When I was searching online for a fertility doctor, I noticed that Dr. Kuo had five stars. The reviews were so overwhelmingly positive that I honestly wondered if they were too good to be true but he is not just a five-star doctor, he is beyond that!! I’m truly grateful that I chose this clinic. I don’t think there’s a better team anywhere! Dr. Kuo is by far the best doctor I have ever met. I honestly wonder when he ever rests, because he always replies so quickly and takes the time to listen. He values my opinions, is incredibly kind, and even though he must be extremely busy, he has never once made me feel rushed. He always gives me the time and attention I need. After hearing experiences from my friends going through IVF at other clinics, I’m reminded again and again how lucky I am to have Dr. Kuo. My nurse, Eliana, is also wonderful, gentle, patient, and always thorough when explaining things. She remembers the little details about me, which makes the experience feel so personal and comforting. All the other staff members are equally friendly and attentive. Every interaction has been positive; not a single person has ever made me feel uncomfortable. The clinic itself is spotless, and I never have to wait, whether it’s for my appointment or for payment. Everything is organized, efficient, and smooth from start to finish. The cost truly reflects the level of excellence you receive here. With the high success rates, the exceptional care, and Dr. Kuo’s expertise, this clinic offers incredible value. With such an amazing doctor and team, I’ve been able to go through this IVF journey without unnecessary stress. I truly couldn’t ask for a better clinic.

I’m filled with gratitude for both the doctor Kuo and the assistant Clarissa. A few years ago, I went to a different IVF clinic, and the doctor there was not supportive at all — they didn’t even remember me between visits, so I had to explain my symptoms from the beginning every single time. Because of that experience, I was very careful when choosing a new IVF clinic. A friend recommended doctor Kuo to me, and I truly believe I was lucky to find such an amazing doctor. I feel very reassured knowing that I can contact the doctor directly via text whenever something comes up. Clarissa has also been incredibly kind and supportive, which allowed me to go through the IVF process without anxiety. Thanks to both of them, I was able to get pregnant and graduate from the program after just one transfer. I definitely plan to come back to doctor Kuo when we try for our second baby.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this IVF clinic! From start to finish, the care I received was truly exceptional. The entire team is incredibly professional, compassionate, and always available when you need them. Dr Kuo is simply the best — knowledgeable, straight-forward, and genuinely invested in your success. They always make you feel like a VIP. Everything is organized, communication is fast, and they go above and beyond to make sure you understand each step. I was amazed by how quickly they update you with results and how smoothly everything runs. You never feel like “just another patient” here; they treat you with so much warmth and care. Before coming here, I was planning to go to another local doctor who also had great reviews, but I quickly realized their office wasn’t run well. It took forever to get a response, and it felt like they just didn’t care. That experience made me appreciate this clinic even more! I drove farther to come here, and it was worth every single minute of the drive. If you’re looking for a clinic that combines top medical expertise with truly personal attention, this is the place. I’m so grateful to all the ladies at the office, my coordinator Blue who gave me endless support, and Dr Kuo for making this journey so positive and successful!!

This will be my biggest 5 star review I will ever write in my life hands down. I never thought I would publicly share my ivf journey bc it was the most challenging and personal and private experience I've ever gone through and I wanted to keep secret but in order to write this review, I have to let go of my ego and I owe it to Dr Kuo bc he deserves all the praise in this world. Small background on me. I've done multiple laparoscopies and hysteroscopies, worked on my body to conceive beginning 2013 with eastern and western herbs, acupuncture, etc. I even had a doctor tell me I can't have children, who walked out on me. I turned to ivf in 2019. I've been to the top rated ivf centers, did many rounds with not great results because they were more profit driven and I was treated like a number. They would sugar coat the heck out of everything sounding like robots and ultimately giving me false hope with grim news. After many many many failed rounds and transfers and then onset of depression, I spent hours on the internet trying to find the best ivf doctor in all of California looking for hope even though I didn't have much left. (even considered overseas if it got to that point) I paid for many consults with various doctors again to see if someone can stop sugarcoating but they all sounded the same and was fooled for 7 rounds. Enter Dr Kuo ..... Dr Kuo has changed my life. Not only is he a master at his craft, he is an amazing human being with so much compassion, he does everything wholeheartedly until it's perfect for the best results possible even if it means more work, time and energy for him. From the get go, Dr Kuo treated me like a real patient and not a cash cow. He is the most meticulous, detailed oriented, works 7 days a week, did one of my retrievals on superbowl Sunday. And is The most transparent, honest and professional doctor I've ever met. And if finding the perfect ivf doctor isn't enough, Blue,my patient coordinator, is a gem and one of a kind. In all of my rounds of ivf including all other locations, she's been the best I've ever had. I am super picky and have very high standards and Dr Kuo and Blue set the bar so high that I don't think any other place will come close. My only regret is that I didn't find them sooner. I wasted a lot of time, money and rounds at other places that didn't truly care about me as an individual. Dr Kuo has the highest success rate than any clinic in the world, why? Because he will go the extra mile and do extra things other clinics will refuse to do for the best chances of success. Dr Kuo thinks outside the box and all of his practices are tried and true. I believe everything Dr Kuo says and I'm 100% he's the best doctor ever and I had never felt that way for any professional. He has zero interest to cut corners and will give it his all. He is all in 100% for YOU and that's what I felt throughout all my rounds here. I've never met any professional that works 24hrs 365 days a year (he literally responds to all text messages with no delay) and that part I just can't figure out. But I believe his wholehearted dedication and passion in helping people is very humbling and doesn't go unnoticed. I feel so damn fortunate to have found Dr Kuo and Blue and it's the best move I have made in my life to have chosen this clinic. Not sure what else to say. If you've read this far, look no further, Dr Kuo is the real deal.. he's the goat, holy grail of IVF, the real Superman and is hall of fame!!!

The skill and dedication of Dr. Kuo and his team is beyond anything that I imagined could exist. From the initial consultation I knew that I had made the right choice in choosing his practice. During the consultation he explained everything in thorough detail, presenting the information in an accessible way and answering all of our questions patiently. His immense knowledge is immediately apparent and I appreciated learning how his practice uses more specialized protocols than other clinics in many ways. After the consultation you are assigned a care coordinator and put into a group chat with Dr. Kuo. Being able to have an almost immediate response time to any of my questions or concerns during this process was incredible and it made me feel extremely supported during a very vulnerable time. My care coordinator Clarissa is absolutely amazing! She gave me encouragement, let me facetime her if I needed to before injections and was an overall joy to talk to and be around. My experience would not have been the same without her. During appointments I rarely had to wait more than a few minutes and every member of the staff was always helpful and friendly. Going to the office almost daily was a positive experience because of everyone's thoughtfulness and overall sense of care; you really feel like part of a family. Throughout the process Dr. Kuo provided thorough and consistent updates while always considering my well-being. Dr. Kuo has devoted his life to helping women overcome fertility issues and I am so fortunate to have found him.

We found Dr. Kuo’s team during our IVF search and could not believe they had 5/5 reviews on every platform we saw. Upon reading the reviews we were very excited to start our fertility journey with IVF Fertility Center. We had a really great first impression of how organized and efficient their office runs, from the first phone call with our coordinator Blue who is very knowledgeable in answering a lot of questions. I love how Dr. Kuo actually reviewed all my previous medical records before our first consultation, he explained all the options to us patiently and answered all our questions in all the visits. They truly are the top top notch team, Dr Kuo and Blue added us in a group chat so we can ask questions and get updates in real time, they’re literally there 24/7! I felt so safe and supported following their advice. Blue also does her best to help us save money, submitting to insurance for us even though they don’t have the obligation to do so since they’re out of network. Dr. Kuo’s clinic is spotless, friendly, and most importantly the most efficient clinic I have seen so far while at the same time making you feel you’re the only patient they’re seeing that day. We were always so excited to see them because they greet you like family, and they made us feel they’re a supportive family that wants us to succeed. It was a long drive for us to the clinic but every visit was so worth it! We got pregnant right before we were about to officially start the cycle, and we felt this was a miracle brought by Dr. Kuo, his aura! We love his team so much that when we found out the good news we were almost a bit disappointed that we won’t be going through this journey with them together, but they were so kind to actually follow our pregnancy until about 12 weeks (so we had time to transition to a local OB). During early pregnancy, we did 3 ultrasounds with Dr. Kuo, and he was closely following my blood tests and making medication adjustments to make sure we safely pass the most precarious time of the pregnancy. No words can express enough of our gratitude to their team during that 1st trimester. Of course, the IVF Fertility Center would not be this successful if Dr. Kuo didn’t have such an equally wonderful team. Everyone there is extremely attentive and detail oriented. I am a very detail oriented person so I get irritated by all the careless mistakes I find in the medical field, so when I saw a lot of their clinic reviews were focused on how detail oriented their clinic is, that was the main reason we reached out to them. We mainly worked with Blue as our clinic coordinator. She is like a super kind big sister that I could ask any questions. When we were trying to track ovulation with LH strips, she would look at our everyday photos and help pinpoint the date we most likely ovulated. She took care of so many things, including reminding me what medicine to start or stop taking, sending medicine/lab orders to different places upon our requests, helping us submit complicated forms to insurance companies, etc. She’s an instrumental part of our amazing experience with the clinic because she took care of so many things for Dr. Kuo, so that he can focus on the medical aspect. This is a 10/5 team, and our experience with IVF Fertility Center will unlikely be surpassed by any other medical experience we’re going to have. They truly are the best!

I cannot express enough gratitude for Dr. Kuo and his incredible team. If you are looking for a fertility doctor who is truly invested in your journey, look no further. My fertility journey began in 2021, and like many, it was filled with highs and lows. I was initially told everything looked fine, only to later hear from another doctor that I would never get pregnant naturally. When I decided to pursue IVF, I started with a well-known doctor who, unfortunately, was overwhelmed with too many patients and couldn’t give my case the attention it needed. My egg count was declining rapidly, yet I was encouraged to proceed with a round despite the low numbers. When all of our embryos came back with genetic defects, we were devastated and also learned that we might have underlying genetic issues to consider. This doctor initially told me I could proceed with implantation, only to retract that statement days later. Feeling lost, I was unsure if I should continue with another round—until my mom found Dr. Kuo. She discovered glowing reviews from patients who had similar challenges, including low egg counts and genetic concerns, yet had success with him. From the very first consultation, I knew he was different. Dr. Kuo is incredibly methodical, patient, and genuinely cares about every single person he works with. He limits the number of patients he takes on so that he can be fully present for each of them. Once you are under his care, he creates a group chat where you can reach him and his nurses 24/7—something that made an immeasurable difference during such a stressful process. Dr. Kuo also understands the financial burden of IVF and will never push you into a cycle unless he truly believes it’s the right decision. He takes his time, but that patience is what makes him exceptional. After three rounds of IVF, he was able to get us pregnant with our ONE embryo. Dr. Kuo is nothing short of a miracle worker. His expertise, dedication, and compassion made all the difference in our journey, and I will forever be grateful to him and his amazing team. If you are looking for a doctor who will fight for you, support you, and do everything in his power to give you the best chance, Dr. Kuo is the one.
