Wow Im so impressed with Dr Blau I had double hip replacement 2 years ago and one of my hips started failing and sliding around. I went to see Dr Blau and from day one he knew exactly what was happening and what to do. I had to have hip surgery again to fix the problem and Dr Blau and his team made the whole experience hopeful and effective. Thank you Dr Blau and his team of girls they made me feel great and comfortable about the whole procedure. I highly recommend this place and Dr Blau if your gonna need his services in the future. This review is for Dr. Jonathan Blau in this office.. I had an orthopedic emergency and the doctor's office  I had been going to for years told me it would be a week before they could see me. I was reffered to Dr. Blau who saw me the next day. He is very kind, patient and understanding. He immediately came up with a game plan for care. When the pain continued and increased, he saw me quickly to evaluate the change in status and once revised his approach. He answers calls and emails. Kimmie the receptionist is very nice. My only complaint is the parking attendants are horrible.

Dr. Rad did a total  right hip replacement a few months ago for my mom. And in  the past 4 years she had her left hip replacement and a total knee replacement. I can only say he is one amazing doctor with a gift to give people a better quality of life. Thank you Dr. Rad for what you did for my mom. She no longer has to be in pain or have a hard time to move around. We have meet so many other people that have had similar surgeries by other Surgent at physical therapy and they still had pain months after surgery. I definitely recommend him to anyone that has pain and need an amazing Surgent.

LA bone and joint institute is the best center I've ever tried. Dr. Shahin Rad who is managing my treatment is very professional, friendly and cool! The other staff (such as Meghan Pyle and receptionist) are nice and friendly too. Overall very satisfied with my experience with this team.

My husband fell and fractured his hip. While in the hospital, Dr. Rad was assigned to my husband and we had no prior experience with Dr. Rad. Dr. Rad performed hip replacement and fracture repair surgery on my husband Aug 2021. My husband went from pre-operative severe pain and unable to walk, to pain free and walking beautifully, sitting and standing, getting in and out of a car, and walking up a few steps in less than two weeks. Dr. Rad phoned me, the wife, twice, to keep me informed which is unlike any other physician we've encountered in Los Angeles, even with Covid hospital restrictions on family visits. Dr. Rad is Very Highly Recommended. Well deserving of 5 of 5 stars.

Avoid this doctor at all costs! He is very rude and unprofessional. I went there for a possible knee replacement surgery as I have deformity in knee bones due to a severe injury. I have insurance through Obamacare. He asked me during visit what type of insurance I had. As soon as he found out, he gave silly reason as to why he couldn't do it. A reason other surgeons ridiculed when I told them about. What seems to motivate this guy is MONEY! Don't go to this character!

I had hip replacement 11 months ago I feel great I'm able to walk and do things I couldn't do before. The Doctor is a GREAT surgeon definitely I recommended him he has a wonderful staff the PA  is great she listens and answers my questions never in a rush and always takes her time to take care of my concerns. The x-ray tech is always pleasant and very professional. I'm so glad that I was referred to this office I'm so thankful to all of them.

i have a chronic knee pain that I have lived with for yrs. There isn't a doctor that I have been to that has done for me what Dr. Rad has done. I was living in pain for so long and now that's gone. He has the magic bullet that has made me walk normal, climb steps and I feel reborn. i couldn't recommend a Dr. more, he is a caring physician and treats you with the utmost care.. You are not a number, you are a person. I recommend him at the highest level there is, as I feel healthy and wonderful and my life is so much more enjoyable. Shirley Friedman

Dr. Rad replaced both of my hips through the anterior approach and I am doing great. I left the hospital in less than 24 hours each time. He gave me my life back. Thank you.
