After a few years of trying to grow our family, my partner and I decided to pursue IVF and we truly couldn’t have been in better hands than with Dr. Kumar. While the process wasn’t immediately successful, I never lost hope, largely because of Dr. Kumar’s steady guidance. He was always honest, kind, and shared information at exactly the right moments. He helped me stay grounded in the present rather than getting overwhelmed by “what ifs” or what might come next. That approach made an incredibly emotional process feel manageable and supported. Our second round was successful, and I’m now 29 weeks pregnant. Transitioning to my OB-GYN was bittersweet, as it meant saying goodbye to Dr. Kumar and his incredible team of nurses, who cared for me so thoughtfully every step of the way.

I have been working closely with RN Courtney and Caitlin for several months. They have been a breeze to work with - warm, quickly responsive, and supportive. I had my transfer today and Dr. Kumar completed the procedure before I had the change to ask him if he had started! He was kind and I felt absolutely nothing during the transfer. Truly a fantastic experience - the nurses brought me photos of the blastocyst and the ultrasound of the transfer - memories I will cherish forever. Dr. Kumar's sense of humor also brought such a light, calming energy to the experience, which made a meaningful difference. The entire team has been professional, compassionate, and incredibly reassuring. I’m so grateful for the care I’ve received and would highly recommend them to anyone going through this journey. I have had a fantastic experience and will continue working with them in the future.

The best of the best! We started the IVF process with our local clinic and immediately felt the chaotic vibe would not be for us. We then had consults with USC and Acacio Fertility, but went with our gut and landed on Dr. Kumar and Western Fertility. They have been such a blessing for our family! After a very successful egg retrieval (which our local clinic was unable to achieve for whatever reason) and two rounds of successful IVF and reciprocal IVF, I can confidently say we absolutely made the right choice. I have worked in the women’s health field for 15 years and have referred several friends and family members to Western Fertility, each with success stories. We now personally know 11 happy, healthy babies/children who would not be here without the stellar care provided by Dr. Kumar and his staff.

Very positive experience with WFI the doctor and nurses are very thorough kind and patient. Appointments ran on time and were easy to schedule or adjust. We had the BEST experience with WFI and I am currently 26 weeks pregnant with a baby boy. From the start Dr. Kumar was very informative about our options and direction we should go with the highest success rate. Because he was upfront about IUI not really being an option for us we went straight to IVF. I believe we saved a lot of money and heartbreak in going straight to IVF and we are grateful for his upfront honesty. Throughout the entire process Jessica and the whole team at WFI were so compassionate, communicative and answered all the questions we had. This time last year, having a baby was nothing more than a dream. Our journey to Western Fertility Institute began with difficult facts and some difficult to navigate diagnoses. We knew immediately that growing our family would require expert care, and we did not take the decision of choosing a clinic lightly. We interviewed fertility clinics across the United States (we live in Alabama) — in Alabama, Georgia, Minnesota, California, and beyond. No doctor stood out the way Dr. Kumar did. From our very first consultation, Dr. Kumar was calm, direct, and confident. He clearly explained our options, laid out exactly what it would take for us to get pregnant, and gave us a plan that made sense. What set him apart was not just his knowledge, but his certainty. When I told him how much this meant to us, he said, “It’s not if I’ll get you pregnant — it’s when. I do not accept failure.” When that call ended, I looked at my husband and said, “This is it. This is our clinic.” We knew immediately we were willing to fly cross-country to work with this team. IVF is no joke. The amount of anxiety, fear, and emotional weight that comes with the process is overwhelming, and nothing truly prepares you for how many questions you suddenly have about your own body. I never once felt like a number. I was a person. We were people. If I sent an email, I received a response. If I had a question — even one that felt small or repetitive — it was answered. I was assigned a dedicated nurse and coordinator, Courtney, and her role in this journey cannot be overstated. She answered questions, addressed concerns, reassured me when anxiety crept in, and when I truly spiraled, she seamlessly brought Dr. Kumar into the conversation. We began this process with five beautiful, well-graded, PGT-tested embryos. Our first transfer was not successful. Instead of dismissing that outcome, Dr. Kumar listened. He agreed to run every test possible to give us answers and peace of mind. That decision led to an unexpected diagnosis of adenomyosis — something I had no symptoms of and something that could have easily gone undetected. Dr. Kumar immediately adjusted the plan, reassured us that we would still get pregnant, and guided us through months of suppression with clarity and confidence. We trusted the plan, and we followed it exactly. For our next transfer, I flew to California nervous but hopeful. Five days later — earlier than I was technically supposed to test — I saw a faint line. That line is now in my arms. Our daughter, Olivia Grace, is here. She is healthy, perfect, and everything we dreamed of. She exists because of the expertise, communication, and unwavering support of Dr. Kumar, Courtney, and the entire Western Fertility Institute team. Perhaps the greatest testament to our experience is this: I am only four days postpartum, and I am already telling my husband how excited I am for our next transfer. We know we will use every single one of our remaining embryos. We know Dr. Kumar found the plan that worked for us. And we believe, with our whole hearts, that we have the opportunity to bring more beautiful children into this world — because of this team.
