Dr. Change was my physician for approximately 5 years. He never discovered my heart murmur. Two physicians immediately discovered the heart problem. When I went to him because of a significant weight loss, he prescribed lab tests, which I was informed came back indicating no particular problems. Five months later Dr Chang's replacement found the weight loss disturbing and subsequently found lung cancer and liver cancer.

I've been seeing Dr. Chang for a couple of years now. I highly recommend him. He's knowledgeable, thorough, and with a great bedside manner. He listens to my concerns and answers my questions and never makes me feel rushed. I'm a complicated health patient and he takes the time to work through everything. He also acts as my primary doctor in my team of 8 other specialists and follows/oversees everything they do for me. An absolutely wonderful physician and person!

As a new patient in an HMO, I was learning the system of primary care physicians, etc . The learning curve was steep. Dr. Alan Chang has been a pillar of knowledge and so helpful in leading the way for me. I am very thankful for Dr. Chang's direction, wisdom, compassion and rapport.

Doctor Chang is an exceptional care provider. He is my primary care physician for 15 years, and I will miss him as he resigns from Sharp Healthcare.

He did not let me finish my explanation of my allergies, and placed me on a medication I was allergic to. I switched doctors after less than a month. He talks very fast and interrupted me many times. His nurses are very nice, though.

Dr Chang is very accessible and helpful. He takes his time with you and really listens. Just as importantly - his nurse and staff are compassionate and helpful. He has been our doctor for 5 years and friends of ours have been going to him for many more. Only great things to say about him and his staff.
