List of Arush A Patel Md's Reviews
I do not recommend him. He spends less than 5 min with me and yelled at me. He had the wrong dx and inject the wrong area even though he had my old MRI. Another employee at arch that knowns Dr. Patel highly recommended seeing a different hand specialist outside of the group. After surgery from an outside provider, I can say Dr. Patel is very bad at diagnosing.
I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT OF DR. PATEL'S FOR MANY YEARS NOW AND HE IS EXEMPLARY. HE IS AN EXCELLENT SURGEON RECOMMENDED BY MANY OF HIS FELLOW DRS. HE IS ONE OF THE FEW DOCTORS THAT IS ALWAYS ON TIME AS HE VALUES HIS PATIENTS TIME AS VERY PRECIOUS AND SHOULD BE ADHEARED TO AT ALL TIMES. HE IS A CARING AND VERY POSITIVE DOCTOR AND HIS GOAL IS TO ALWAYS TO DO THE BEST THAT HE CAN AND HE ALWAYS MEETS THAT GOAL.
I have about 10 visits to the Doctor's office and 3 surgeries on my fingers and/or arms. Dr Patel has a very pleasant manner and his office personnel reflect the same care and expertise in dealing with patients. I am always greeted with a smiling face at the office. The Doctor has a way of explaining issues in a manner that an everyday Joe can understand. If I have questions about alternative solutions, he goes through them and gets to the best solution. I now trust him fully and his suggestions. I can honestly say that Dr Patel has been the best physician I have dealt with in my 82 years. I recommend him highly for his skills, his pleasant associates, and his ability to provide an answer to your potential questions.
Six months ago, and I'm still on disability from this. I broke my leg in three places on a Saturday. I had surgery at Palomar hospital and thank the lucky stars that Dr. Patel was the one who did it. He did an amazing amazing job. My leg healed beautifully. Four months later, me being me I managed to fracture my heel stepping down off of a stool a little bit too hard. And again Dr. Patel has taken care of me beautifully and I'm healing again. Every time I go to that office I don't wait an excessive amount of time. When I call the office my Issues are taken care of right away, the staff is friendly front office and back office. Andrew in particular is just wonderful they should clone Andrew and sprinkle him about in every medical office in the country. And Raffi who is the one who builds all my casts is kind and patient and just wonderful to see on my appointments always happy, smiling it's nice to have that in a medical practice, not to mention he's clearly excellent at his job. Not that everybody else there is not just as wonderful as these two gentlemen I just don't remember all their names. They are All wonderful. Dr Patel and the other doctors there, whom I have not interacted with, have put together a wonderful staff. So the doctors who are exemplary, have a staff that is exemplary backing them up. Clearly I do not wish broken bones on ANYONE but should you go out and break bones doing whatever your life allows you to do, go see Dr. Patel. And if it's an emergency and you end up by ambulance at Palomar hospital in Escondido, request Dr. Patel if it all possible I don't know if it works that way but if he does request him. I'm sure he has privileges at other hospitals I just don't know which ones they are. NOTE The address listed in this review is good till August they're moving to a building across the street from the hospital in August so be sure and for the address before you go there when you make your appointment
I broke my leg in three places in January and Dr. Patel put me back together again. I am 61 years old and I was good as new. And then as I was doing some lite housework I managed to break my heel in June. The entire time I have been seeing Dr. Patel every visit to his office He’s been professional he’s explained everything in detail I have not left with any questions he’s taking care of whatever I needed taken care of. As well as his staff they’re the same as he is he expects I’m assuming the same professionalism from his staff that he exhibits himself. It’s not often that you go to a physicians office where you get the same professional as a matter of both the front and in the back end. I can’t say enough good things about him he’s absolutely brilliant my leg as good as new. Again I can’t say enough about him he is an amazing surgeon.
In a ridiculous turn of events on my son's birthday in January I broke my leg in three places. Lovely day that was. Thankfully by ambulance I got taken to Palomar hospital. My surgeon was Arush Patel. I must say he is absolutely brilliant. I am four months post-op and I can't believe how well I'm doing. Every time I've gone to his office for a follow up he's attentive, he explains every single thing that's going on he spends all the time that I need him to spend with me, he doesn't rush. I can't say enough good things about him. Not that I would wish a broken leg or a broken by bone on anyone but should you have a broken bone for any reason especially requiring surgery, request him if you can. Beyond that his office staff is amazing. Courteous, efficient & professional. I must give a nod to Andrew whom every time I've had a problem with disability or whatever it happens to be and I've called the office to relate it he's called me back even when I didn't feel like I needed a call back or didn't expect a call back. He is not the only employee that's great but he is exemplary. There was also a gentleman who put my cast on in the very beginning in January I think his name was Luke forgive me if I'm getting the name wrong but he was lovely it was a hard cast he put it on and he was just lovely anyway great office great staff And quite frankly the best surgeon that I could've hoped for. I
If I could give him 6 stars I would .He is a gifted surgeon and the nicest person. If you are in his hands you are blessed
One month and one half trying to get through to the front desk to get my right finger looked at. It's a hard deposit caused because tools always hit precisely there and it naturally has reacted over the years by becoming calciferous yet sensitive like a gonad indelicately hung outside my body. One month and one half staying on hold and counting down the number of callers in front of me only to be dropped by some mysterious time out process disallowing someone the opportunity to remain on the line longer to waste their life further. And so it goes. And then, when the young yet mostly inept front desk attendant confirms that the referral is for my left hand I do the right medical thing and correct her indicating that it is, in fact, my right hand. She puts me back on hold telling me that she needs to call the referring physician to get that changed.I'm still on hold as I type this. Hour 6 trying to get a simple appointment for a known problem with nearly complete information. I am going to claim that she put me on hold as a punitive measure to me begging her just to give me an appointment date. It's now been an additional 30 minutes. I am going to use that 30 minutes to warn everyone to avoid the front desk of Dr. Patel's office. The system they are using to do simple things is broken causing them to waste an inordinate amount of time causing you to wait on the phone for an hour now just to get an appointment causing the poor people who called in behind you to wait on the phone for an even longer time and so on ad infinitum. While it isDefinitely my right hand, it's the left side of the finger (when looking at the back of the hand) and though I try to appeal for ignoring left or right for the best sensibilities and in the name of getting off the phone so the next poor fellow might have a chance of scheduling an appointment before they die or the office closes.I got an appointment! I sure hope the front desk reads this so we can spend the time I'll be forced to wait in the room designed for that purpose trying to fix their scheduling process which is so simply broken. It'll be a simple review of information gathering and phone realities from the customers pint of view.
I fell on the 22nd and broke my leg badly in three places I broke it and I was taken to the hospital by ambulance Dr. Patel is not a Doctor Who is my regular doctor but I got him in the emergency room and it was the luck of the draw and boy was I lucky!! The best surgeon ever. he put my leg back together beautifully. I saw the x-rays at my follow up appointment and the bones are lined up perfectly plus the rod and screws were also placed just right. His bedside manner is just lovely as well when I was in hospital. I just can't say enough wonderful things about this surgeon. When I went to his office for the follow up visit the the staff in the office they were all lovely, helpful, pleasant & kind. A gentleman named Luke put my cast on for me he was amazing as well he was very gentle although I must admit it hurt like a son of a gun because of course my leg is broken but he was gentle as possible and I appreciated that very much. I was working on the disability online i called with the number that the office needed & I got a phone call later at my home saying yes your disability is done we filled out our portion of it so now it's on its way to the state. I am 60 years old I did not really need to break my leg at this point in my life because, well, 60 years old however should I ever break another bone and need surgery to fix it I hope the doctor Patel is around to be my surgeon because he's that good I'll search him out. And in case it's not obvious I will be recommending him to everyone.
I had septic arthritis a year ago this month Admitted to Palomar Hospital. My knee had to have emergency surgery because of the infection. Dr Patel came in at 10 30 p.m.and did the surgery the same day I was admitted. I am so thankful he was able to take care of my knee and to start me on the road to recovery. He acted like it was the middle if the day. Cheerful and encouraging as I faced this unknown condition. Him and the hospital staff were amazing. Thank you so much..

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process.
