List of Arush A. Patel's Reviews
My experience to Dr. Patel was beyond GREAT! I have Trigger finger and he said I dont have to live with it. He fixed it on the spot! My outstanding experience started before my time with the Doctor. When I called for an appointment I got a live person and she was very happy to help me. She cared. When I arrived on the day of appointment the lady at the reception desk was super nice and friendly and was very professional in checking me in, with great detail and I did not have to fill in pages of paperwork. No paperwork. She said its all in the computer. She treated me like I was her first patient of the day (but i wasn't). I was called back within 5 mins of sitting down after checking in. The Doctor's assistant that called me in was also so very genuinely concerned for my finger and talked me through how the visit will go with the Doctor and gave me peace of mind. Absolute best doctor appointment I have had- EVER. Professional, Kind, Caring and fast!
So glad to get care for my trigger thumb. Thankyou!
Dr. Patel is caring and he explained everything that was going to be done to me. I would recommend this Doctor to anyone who needs surgery. He was also there or had doctors on call if I needed anything once I went home. Great Doctor
Excellent! Dr. Patel came in the room within 5 minutes of being brought back and looked at my problem. He instantly diagnosed it, gave me thorough information and the choices I had, plus a booklet to read. We were done and now the rest is up to me to decide on what to do.
After switching to UCSD, the surgery performed at UCSD confirmed Dr. Patel diagnosis was completely wrong. He might be a good surgeon but horrible diagnostician and rude. I am so happy that someone at Arch Medical Group who knows Dr. Patel told me to go to a hand specialist outside of Arch. You really don't want a surgeon that a bad diagnostician in case there complications. I personally won't let this doctor touch any of my family members include my dog. The following is an old review I do not recommend him. He spends less than 5 min with me and yelled at me. He had the wrong diagnosis and inject the wrong area even though he had my old MRI. This has been confirmed by another medical hand specialist, a certified hand therapist, and other medical doctors. Dr. Patel was argumentized and rude. Another employee at arch knows Dr. Patel and his reputation. This arch employe highly recommended seeing a different hand specialist outside of the group That is a statement in itself. Dr. Patel completedy missed stuff and did the wrong injection area. This is because he does not listen to the patient, looks at the old notes that were his notes and rushes though patients.
I don't blame Dr Patel for performing unnecessary wrist surgery, my diagnosis was difficult. But the surgery did not help. After months of no relief and no improvement from OT, he insisted on another MRI.I left 5 messages trying to schedule reading a useless MRI.Eventually I had to seek out another dr just to read the damn thing and be left after 3 years of problems, still undiagnosed. I've still never received contact from his office, post my 3rd MRI!Lack of care, is what you'll get! He'd be happy to operate!
Was treated by Dr Patel in ED at Palomar Medical on 10/28 and was directed to schedule follow up for surgery in two days. It’s almost 2 weeks later and his office refuses to schedule appt and will not allow me to speak with Dr Patel. I am needing surgery 2nd to being struck by vehicle.
Bad. Will not return calls or schedule followup to fracture he treated at Palomar ED
If I could give him 6 stars I would .He is a gifted surgeon and the nicest person. If you are in his hands you are blessed
I had septic arthritis a year ago this month Admitted to Palomar Hospital. My knee had to have emergency surgery because of the infection. Dr Patel came in at 10 30 p.m.and did the surgery the same day I was admitted. I am so thankful he was able to take care of my knee and to start me on the road to recovery. He acted like it was the middle if the day. Cheerful and encouraging as I faced this unknown condition. Him and the hospital staff were amazing. Thank you so much..

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
