Dr is great but getting ahold of anyone SUCKS. My referrals never go through, pain medication is not called in, nurses never call back and messages are never responded to. It’s honestly ridiculous. Oh and I hope you never have to deal with Henry in referrals because he’s no better than a paper weight.

In May 2021 I went to Dr Barba with severe pain in my lower back. I could barely walk. x-rays revealed that I had a herniated disc between my L4 and L5 that was compressing on my sciatic nerve. We tried cortisone and epidural injections. This is when the doctor and I decided that surgery would be my best step forward. We did my surgery on July 1st 2021. And by October 21st I was back to work with some slight limitations. I just had my yearly and everything is healing fine and I have not been experiencing any of the pain or discomfort that I had before surgery. My surgery has made a huge difference and has given me my quality of life back. It took a bit of effort and physical therapy but I am feeling wonderful and I am ecstatic about the results of my surgery. Everyone in the office we're wonderful. From the receptionist to the nurses to the X-ray technicians. Everyone was amazing and did all that they could to help me recover as quickly as possible. I am so grateful and so thankful.

I have been a patient of Dr Barba’s for several years. He is an excellent Spine Surgeon. I was 84 years old when I had a lumbar infusion surgery and Dr Barba explained the procedure in detail, was very patient and kind both before and after, never made me feel he was in a hurry. His staff are great, always helpful and with a ready smile.

Do not go here if you want any help outside of the visit with Dr. (If you can get an appointment scheduled). The staff if apsolutely the worst I've ever encountered. We wait weeks, months on end to get a return phone call. Prescriptions will not be called in. Yes even needed pain meds. They forward calls all over the office and no one responds. Ludicrious.

Miracle Dr, have savere pain and he was able to relieve pain and get My function ability back with no surgery.

I am a long-time patient with this practice. The medical care is excellent, but recently the office management has deteriorated. Impossible to get through, hard to leave a message and calls not returned. No way to run a medical practice if patients cannot communicate with you.

Came in after over 1 year of pain and disability for a lower back problem. Focus on MRI and alternatives were discussed. I decided to get this behind me so I can function and do the things I wanted to do and not be limited by pain. Dr. recommended based on the MRI surgery to fuse L4/L5 and fix the problem. I agreed and could not be happier with the results.
