I left my appointment very frustrated and disappointed. He was very condescending and I felt that he was judging me. He was rushed and would interrupt me, and speak to me as though I was unintelligent and graced by his expertise. I will be proceeding with Graybill because I liked their office staff, but will be moving forward with literally any other doctor.

This person should not be allowed to be anywhere near patients. He is rude, arrogant, and incompetent. I went to the emergency room and was seen by George John Rodriguez. He fumbled around, didn't seem to know what he was doing, and generally presented as a person who should not be around patients. I had a palm needle stuck in my eye. Instead of calling in a specialist, he attempted to deal with it himself. He fumbled with an eye machine and tried to do an exam from the wrong end of the machine. He seemed clueless. The only thing I appreciated was a prescription for antibiotics, but that evening he refused to call in a prescription so I could pick it up before the pharmacy closed. He threw me a paper prescription and said he wasn't going to call it in and that I could just wait until the next day. I could not understand this. When I read my after care summary written by him, I was furious. He lied, wrote terrible things, and said I "demanded" my medical records, which was untrue. I would have no reason to want this information at this time. Can't someone do something about these arrogant, entitled, rude doctors? I originally just blew it off as an unprofessional person and a bad experience, but when I saw what he wrote, I felt I had to respond. Be warned about him.

I first met George Rodriguez over a year ago when I went to him for help with anxiety and depression because I wasn't allowed to see a specialist without his prior consultation. I told the nurse about what I had been experiencing and shortly after George entered and was filling out a prescription, which he then handed to me before the door even closed and sent me on my way. He never gave a psychological evaluation or spoke with me personally. Later that year after I had a depressive reaction to the medication he prescribed, I was diagnosed as bipolar from another doctor. I reached out to him today (8-26-2020) to ask for an excuse from being forced to wear a mask as it has been exacerbating my anxiety, causing panic attacks and hyperventilation. He told me that he was not able to make a decision without consultation from psychologist or psychiatrist, even though he previously diagnosed my mental illness as requiring antidepressants. He suggested unnecessary tests to bill my insurance

I would give this doctor zero, but it will not let me.. My husband was going to him for approz. 4 yrs and he kept giving him medication for prostrate however he refused to give him a cystoscopy test until I was screaming at him and his nurse Nancy and after months and months to find out he has bladder cancer now.. This doctor does not care and if anyone is seeing him for prostrate problems I would advise a second opinion from another doctor as now my husband has been going thru chemo for the last three or so months and still have to have operations afterwords. this doctor does not care... So when the medical officials tell you they are board certified it means nothing if they are not caring doctors that actually test you. To find out that he had this tumor growing in him for over a year under his care after my husband asked him for this test twice but Nooo this doctor said he knew better that he just had an infection. I finally talked him into leaving him and going to another doctor and now he has someone that truly cares and interested in his health. Thanks for ruining our lives from your neglect.

Don't waste your time. A doctor that does listen to the patient.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Rodriguez. He was caring, he listened carefully and he is good at what he does. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for a Doctor in San Diego.

Dr. Rodriguez has been my physician for many years. Fortunately my health is excellent for my age, so I typically visit him only for routine physical exams. I have always found Dr. Rodriguez to be attentive, thorough, and very personable. He is very competent and has an excellent reputation. My wait time for the appointment was less than 15 seconds, and the attending staff and nurse were pretty terrific, really! All-in-all, a very positive experience.
