List of Juan Carlos T Franco Md's Reviews
If you are looking for a primary care doctor that cares for your health he is not the right doctor. There’s doctors out there that are not in the profession just for the money. According to Ivette, his assistant, the only way you will be able to communicate with him is if you have an appointment. He is one week out of the office every month to be a hospitalist which will delay the review of your lab tests. My mom had a very bad experience with Dr Franco and unfortunately she passed away last month.
Doesn’t care for his patients. Seems like his assistant is the one that reviews lab results. I wasn’t going to submit any reviews but after the bad experience that I had with him I wish I had read his reviews.
If I could give a 0 - I would. My husband went to his appt as he was ill - Franco said 'tell me the ONE thing you're concerned about - we only have 15 min.' He ordered test - we never got to speak to Franco re the results, he was 'out of the office', no referring to another partner in the office - 'you can speak to his nurse,'' and then he would be 'unavailable for 2 wks' - earliest appt Mar 10 (my husband died Mar 6). Finally - we demanded another Dr in the practice after 4 wks of waiting for Franco to even respond- which he NEVER did. Within 5 min she diagnosed at 20 com ( 10 ") mass on his liver. Immediate cat scan, in office the next day - CANCER in liver and lungs, thru out the abdomen. Hospitalized for biopsy - DIED 12 days after. If Franco would have examined my husband - he would have easily FELT a liver mass that large. He didnt do it. My husband's cancer was very advanced/aggressive - at that stage Franco would not have been able to save him - but the NEGLIGENCE is a astounding. If it had been in the early stages - Franco never would have known it to begin treatment.. STAY AWAY FROM HIM

I saw dr. Franco today he spent at least a half-hour with me. He is the nicest most friendly doctor I have ever been to.Kind friendly caring and very confident. He's going to be my new doctor.I'm so happy I met him
Dr Juan Carlos Franco was knowledgeable about my medical concerns. He treated me with respect and gave me appropriate advice, referrals, and medication.
I've been seeing Dr. Franco for about 8 years. He has been super responsive, accurate and thorough. Can't ask for a better doc.
I have been going to Dr Franco for over a year now, and as someone with predisposition to chronic illness, I have seen many doctors and specialists in my day, and Dr Franco is the best doctor I have ever had the absolute pleasure of seeing. He is everything a doctor should be. He is well-informed on many subjects. I would know, as he and I have ran the gambit on diagnoses from autoimmune disease, STDs and STIs, cancer, mental illness, hormonal and thyroid dysfunction, virus and bacterial infections and communicable disease, and through all of it, he has shown a great understanding on these subjects. He is also not hard to get ahold of which to me is huge. While many doctors treat their practice solely as a business, I know Dr a Franco sees his practice as much more. He truly cares about his patients and their well-being, and as such, he has on multiple occasions made himself available on short notice, even with me barging into his practice once (I'm not the easiest patient in the world to deal with) and every time he has been kind, courteous, understanding and patient. I don't want to sound cheesy or like I am exaggerating, but I really feel blessed to have found Dr Franco. To me, not only has he become a doctor, but also a confidante and someone I can look up to and trust.Dr Franco, if you are reading this, thank you. You have made a very positive impact on my life. Don't ever change.
Have been given a referral and the company has no knowledge of this referral.
I first saw Dr. Juan Franco while a patient in Palamar Hospital. He was courteous and took time to listen to my concerns while arriving at an accurate diagnosis. During follow-up appointments his staff as been great. Nevera problem getting an appointment with very little waiting at his office.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
