Mark Kadden's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Kadden has been my gastroenterologist for the past 16 years. I like and trust him. Sadly, I have now switched physicians because my experience with his office staff was awful. The worst I have ever experienced. It took me one month to schedule my procedure. The procedure was then booked three months in advance for the earliest appointment. The office staff made a booking error with the procedure, and I called them about it multiple times. They NEVER once returned my calls. They rarely answer the phone. You get voicemail, leave a message and you never hear back. I asked if I could speak with Dr. Kadden. The answer was no. I could book an appointment to talk with him in two months, the day before my procedure, which was physically impossible. I reluctantly gave up, and booked with another physician whose staff are normal, polite, answer the phone, return calls, and make prompt appointments. Avoid heartache and stress from dealing with staff who clearly don't care about you.

On Monday, 2/26/18, I called Dr. Kadden's office. The woman who answered the phone was nice at first but when I stated the reason for my call she became indignant and condescending. I simply asked to speak to or at least leave a message for Dr. Kadden regarding a necessary change in medication. After an uncomfortable back and forth with her she finally stated she would give him the message the next day. From this I expected a return call, at least from his nursing staff. It has been 4 working days since my call and I've yet to receive a call back. I suffer from what Dr. Kadden diagnosed as IBS. As a consequence of the lack of action on the part of his staff I now have a kidney infection from the bacteria introduced to my urinary tract from the constant diarrhea. It's beyond disturbing that either his receptionist failed to give the nursing staff the message or they chose to ignore my request. I will be requesting a referral to a different Gastroenterologist. Update 5/16/21: I've been diagnosed with Celiac Disease. I was told by my current doctor that this has been going on for years. I'm furious that my symptoms were not fully investigated. If you care about being diagnosed correctly choose a different gastroenterologist.

Dr Kadden and his staff are number 1. Dr Kadden helped me out with a situation I was in and had been for years. Dr Kadden not only saved my life, he saved my wife and I from financial ruin. Today, I no longer have a demon in my body. Additionally, my wife and I love Rosa. Rosa is the type of person that everyone should come across in their lifetime. Be well.

I went in for a preliminary consultation and was told I would be contacted the following Monday to schedule a procedure as the person who schedules was out. I called the following Wednesday to get my pricedure schedules ans was told the peeson is still out. Now it has been 10 days and still no contact or my procedure scheduled. This is unprofessional and acceptable. Graybill should look into this practice and adopt serious corrective actions as their patients health concerns do not seem to take priority!

Dr Kadden has been my doctor for years and I have always felt he was a great Doctor and now I have my husband going to him and Dr. Kadden is treating him also... my jusbands situation is much more complicated than mine was.. but i am sure he is in good hands..
