Dr Malek has been my fathers doctor for decades and when my husband needed a cardiologist I didn’t hesitate to request Dr Malek to be his cardiologist. He saved both my father’s life and my husbands!

Had Dr Malek years ago for a pacemaker placement, and an attempt to cardiovert my husband. Cardioversion didn't work but the pacer has been re-placed because it had been 10 years. We moved away and saw other cardiologists. Have yet to find another cardiologist that come even close to the care we get from Dr. Malek. You will NEVER find another Doctor like him. He takes time with his patients and cares deeply for all of them! Its just the man he is. Caring, listens intently, gives instruction you can understand. I wish he could be our pcp, rather I wish pcps were every bit like him! He's the best.

Dr. Malek treated me during a heart attack and I'm an ongoing patent. I find him to be extremely knowledgeable, higly skilled, very professional, compassionate and a great listener. Having a heart attack has to qualify as one of the worse events of your life but encountering Dr Malek in the midst of that chaos has to be considered one of the most fortitous. A very impressive guy.....

Dr. Malek is very kind and caring. Has your best interest at heart and is very honest. I appreciate the time he takes with his patients & their families in explaining conditions and treatment suggested.

He is concerned about quick fixes, gives you pills rather than listening and coming to a good longterm solution. In my case he kept adding medications when there were indications that they had no effect he wanted, then when there was an autoimmune response that caused widespread neuropathy. He claimed it was not what he prescribed. I had to deal with my primary care Dr to get to a neurologist who is treating the condition. It turns out if he had told me to stop taking the drugs the neuropathy would have probably gone away on its own. I have been in constant pain for over two years due to his indifference. Find someone who cares, is not past their prime and is up to date on the lastest developments and information on drug.

Dr. Malek is so so skilled. He performed a very complex procedure on my aunt and it went wonderful. Excellent bedside manner too. Hard to find a combo of skill and manners like those of Dr. Malek. Truly if you want your loved one to get the best service, this is the doctor to go to.

Dr. Malek is the most knowledgable, patient and kind physician you could have. Most doctors I visit try to get in and get out fast but Dr. Malek treats you like you are the most important patient he has on his schedule. He even uses models and iPad diagrams to explain certain conditions. He is an honest man and truly wants whats best for his patients.

He is the best of the best! I love how patient he is, how understanding, and extremely knowledgable about the heart. His bedside manner is exceptional. Jamie, his assistant is exceptionally pleasant, understanding, and compliments Dr. M very well. Highly recommend him, best cardiologist ever.

I am forever thankful to Dr. Malek for being the first Cardiologist to help keep my Stepdad out of Atrial Fibrillation. After four failed cardioversions at some of the best hospitals in LA & SD, I encouraged my stepdad to come see Dr. Malek. After a thorough history intake, and assessment, and a few weeks, my stepdad converted out of AFib on his own! The care ever since has been too notch & my Stepdad is so glad he listened to me
