Even though he is dealing with life and death matters, he can still put you at ease. I am heading toward a transplant in a few months, largely in part to his skill and care. Dr. Khawar is my primary doctor. More importantly he has been my husband's primary doctor and nephrologist for about 6 years. He has saved Brad's life by advising alternative surgery for a remaining kidney at the City of Hope. We trust him completely and we are grateful to him for his care, his knowledge and kindness.

Dr. Khawar has been my caring and competent primary physician for many years. He listens carefully to my complaints and takes conservative steps forward to address each one. I have been suffering from chronic headaches and fatigue, and his referrals to specialists in several areas have been spot on. When my husband and I suggested last visit that the allotted appointment times seemed too short, he promptly suggested we can ask for a 30 minute appointment. So we did!
