Dr.Samuels actually listens to her patients and cares. Believe me I have been to dozens and dozens of primary care physicians in my life and finding one with knowledge and compassion is a gold mine. Unfair for whomever rated her as a one star, based on “company” policy. Rate the Dr based on her performance not the clinic policies. You get respect if you give respect and she is top notch. Never pretentious and always caring. Additionally, I have never been denied my b-12 shots in seven years. I left her and went to Kaiser for cheaper premiums. I couldn't wait for the new year to get back a great Dr. AND my premiums are double that of Kaiser now. She's that good! Hope this helps. She’s the best! Bar none.

After getting no where with my doctor @ Arch health. I was given Dr. Samuels as my new primary. Boy did I luck out. Within the first appointment with her, which was an hour and fifteen minutes long, she ordered several things. Bloodwork, Xray, Catscan, MRI, and an EKG. Before the weeks end I had answers for all the symptoms I had been dealing with for over FIVE YEARS with my PCP at Arch health. I was referred to Dr. Tonia Rivera. She is a Rheumatologist. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, and hypertension. I immediately started treatment to try and get my R.A. under control. Dr. Samuels also took it upon herself to manage my pain medication for relief from the R.A. and Fibromyalgia. She is caring, very personable, listens to what you are saying, goes out of her way to comfort you and get you the best care. She and her nurses return calls within just a few hours. I highly recommend her. She saved my life!

She’s been my doctor for eight or nine yrs now. I can’t imagine having another doc as my GP. She’s smart, practical, professional, intuitive, kind, and she LISTENS. As a middle-aged woman, it’s almost impossible to find a doc who listens—much less one w/ all the other qualities listed, as well.

I don’t know what has happened to Dr Samuels, but she has become cold and uncaring, sometimes even borderline offensive. I will not be seeing her anymore.

She doesn’t have a warm demeanor, felt judged. Think she could benefit from showing kindness and concern for her patients.

Dr Samuels takes the time to listen and never rushes an appointment. She remembers patients month to month and does her reading before entering the room. Refreshing! She was my Dr and I left for Kaiser to save money and counted the days until I could return to a real Dr. who cared. She is dedicated to medicine and her profession and I benefit. I win.

Dr. Samuels is an amazing doctor! She takes the time to really listen to her patients, she asks tons of questions, she doesn't rush, and she is not afraid to think outside the box to run tests for a diagnosis. I have been chronically ill for over a decade and Dr. Samuels found one of the major causes, a very rare genetic disorder. My family then tested for it too and all came up positive as well. She is a gold mine of knowledge and a truly incredible doctor.
