Robert Orr's Online Review Report Card

Dr is fine but today was last straw. I was 7 min late and they turned me away. I took time off from work for this follow up. Last time I was here, they left me sitting in the examination room for a long time until I left. They said they forgot I was in there. My time is just as valuable. Tired of this. His staff is overwhelmed I guess. I'm not going back.

I hope you read this, I thought you moved too Colorado, 8 years ago you put a pacemaker/defribulator, in me, i had it checked regularly,  last spring i was having problems and was going to go to the EM,I got the jolt, like touching 220v and kicked in the chest by a horse ,1 more in the ambulance then 2 more at tri city, then 5 more i don't remember, I had a blood bacterial infection in my heart valves. Anyway thanks, you really did save my life.I wish you lived in Nashville. M.Radecki

Dr. Orr is one of the most compassionate, competent and caring physicians I have ever had the privilege of encountering! He takes his time explaining my options; always being thorough with the discussions of all aspects of my cardiac care, and has never made me feel that I didn't have his undivided attention and concern. Fernando, his nurse, is also an exceptional and professional assistant. He is kind and has great people skills, always remembering my name and personal history with such deft accuracy that he makes one feel like he is a personal friend. They are a great team and highly recommended.

My mother has been seeing Dr. Orr for two years. His office staff is the worst. Fernando can't follow through.... The office staff doesn't speak with the doctor. Let's all agree that Stat doesn't mean a week or two. If you want great care and followthrough.... I'd look someplace else.

Dr. Orr is a good physician. The reason I am only giving two stars is because all three experiences at his office have been annoying. The first visit a holter monitor was put on me at 4:00 pm and I was told to return it by 4:00 pm the next day. I expressed concerned because I live in Fallbrook. I decided to take the chance assuming the office would be open until 5:00 pm. After leaving I called Graybill to double check and was told they close at 4:00 pm. I had to return the next day to have the monitor put on again and on the 3rd day, due to other health issues I had to have an Uber driver return it for me. At my second appointment I arrived and was informed that Dr. Orr was running 45 minutes late. I waited. Today I arrived at my appointment and was told that Dr. Orr is again running 45 minutes late. I don't feel like this practice respects my time. Overall, I love Graybill and have always had excellent care for the past 15 years.

I can’t say the doctor isn’t competent, I think he is. He just lacks bedside manner and is a very rushed man which I guess is understandable with the number of patients he sees. I think his staff has a hard time keeping up with him which gives it a feeling of disorder and stress. The front desk is awful and really needs to attend a refresher training on etiquette. They hand out niceties without genuineness, are at times rude, unclear in their communications and gossip and complain in front of patients ... not all of us are 80 years old with hearing aids! I also notice that his assistant Fernando while very nice seems extremely rushed and stressed most of the time. The whole office seems off which make me less confident in the doctor. If I could switch doctors I would but it’s an insurance issue.

I love Dr. Orr and couldn't be happier to have him as my Cardiologist. I was in critical care last year with AFib and Atrial Flutter and Dr. Orr happened to be the Dr. on call. He and another Cardiologist did an ablation and I have been fine ever since. He has a great sense of humor and is the Dr. that was able to get my Afib under control.

Dr. Orr took over my care when we moved back to CA from Prescott, AZ. He has been determined to help me do everything to control my heart issues. He takes time to explain test results and medication changes. The only time I saw him irritated is when I told him I splurged on a cheeseburger and onion rings. He even took time to explain he understands a splurge, but don’t eat the worst 2 things all at once, it’s like eating bratwurst. He is a God send to me and my wife.

Just had heart cath yesterday and he is friendl . Kind and very experienced. I was nervous but he is patient

FANTASTIC physician. He is incredibly knowledgeable and straightforward. He saw an emergency, acted fast, and saved my husband's life.
