Efficient, friendly, knowledgeable! He made my husband and I comfortable, and reassured us of what he was going to do and then explained to both of us his results from the test he preformed. We have complete confidence in Dr. Serry, he helped us to relax and stay calm.

I observed Serry being extremely disrespectful to his staff. He would belittle them. I switched to a different doctor because I did not want my doctor pretending to empathize with me and then talk poorly to staff. He was haughty.

Knowing other retired cardiologists in So Cal in general recommend Rod Serry. He is excellent!!! If you need anything interventional (stents, etc.), he’s second to none!

Dr. Serry was my husband's dr. when he had to have stents put in his heart. Dr. S. was extremely compassionate and understanding, and took a great deal of time to explain the procedure to us. His bedside manner was very good and he was very knowledgeable about this medical area.

I brought my Mother to talk to Dr. Serry for a 2nd opinion on her heart health. Dr. Serry had all the attention for my Mom, and was very detailed on options available to correct her heart problem. He is very professional, and also a person that makes you feel a great level of trust. He is very knowledgeable, and overall very honest. My Mom is doing wonderful! Thank you Dr. Serry!

From the first contact, Dr. Serry presented himself as caring, professional, attentive and conscientious; yet he also appeared very knowledgeable and confident of his skill. We sincerely appreciated these qualities, as they reassured us of his excellent vigilance. Dr. Serry provided us with the same great care after the procedure which, by the way, had a very successful result. We had 100 percent faith in his skill, guidance and concern.

Actually, I had the complete opposite experience under his care. He is not only highly knowledgeable, but it is clear that his colleagues rely on him for his expertise in complex situations. He is compassionate, a great listener, and holds excellent judgment. There must be some misunderstanding, as I have been under his care for very high risk situation, and now he also oversees the care of other members of my family. I treasure him as a physician.

He decided before he met me that I wasn't a high risk patient and my concerns were in my head, despite my physician getting me in less than 24 hours due to her concerns and completed nuclear stress test that showed probable issues. He blew me off completely, interrupted me. I overheard him tell patients in other room to get a cardiologist with more experience. Would not go back.
