Horrible experience with Dr Saurabh Shah, ENT. Waited FORTY FIVE minutes, longest I’ve ever waited for a doc apt; was honestly about to leave. Finally doctor comes in, and I brought up “I don’t appreciate that I had to wait for 45 minutes, I feel that you should try and space out your appointments more. Very unprofessional, my time has been wasted”. Rather than apologizing or letting me know WHY he was so late, Dr Shah said “well it seems that you’re frustrated so we don’t need to establish a doctor/patient relationship” to where I responded “actually I’ve waited all this time and am here to get your opinion on things so I would like to move forward”. I explained my situation to him (and had been to an ent up in northern Cali before moving down to SoCal) and he asked if I sent him any of the files from my other ent. I said no but that I could no problem. To which he responded “let me get this straight. I walk into this office and you’re frustrated with me and then you explain to me tha
I just randomly went to check my medical records on the portal and found out this guy blatantly lied about several things on my chart. I have no idea why he would give me conditions that I don't have such as TMJ, sensorineural Hearing loss, PND Which is some kind of thing you get when you sleep? I do have hearing loss but it's totally not the kind he is assuming! He never even tested my hearing!! I'm not sure how to get rid of this false info but buyer beware. He thrives on nasal scopes. Every time i went he wanted to do another as if he was going to get a different result. The results were always the same.... 420.00 BUCKS PLEASE! The guy is a incompetent in my opinion and I literally think he got my chart mixed up with somebody else!! I have no idea about how to fix it either. SMH
I HAD DR SHAH FOR AN EAR PROBLEM IN THE PAST AND HE TOOK CARE OF IT RIGHT AWAY .. HAVE NOT HAD AN ISSUE WITH MY EARS EVER SINCE AT LEAST A YR OR SO AGO SO WHEN MY HUSBAND NEEDED A DR FOR HIS ALLERGIES/NASAL PROBLEM I SUGGESTED HIM AND SO DID MY PRIMARY DR HABERMAN WHICH IS ANOTHE FABULOUS DR. AND I TOLD MY HUSBAND TELL EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE WITH, SO WE HAD A TELEHEALTH APPT SO THAT I COULD BE THERE ALSO INCASE THINGS CAME UP THAT NEEDED FURTHER ADDRESSING AND MY HUSBAND REALLY LIKED HOW HE ASKED HIM QUESTIONS AND GAVE HIM ALTERNATIVESAND TOOK CARE OF HIM.. WE CALL HIM A TELL IT LIKE IT IS KIND OF DR AND WE LIKE HIM FOR THAT AND THATS THE KIND OF PEOPLE WE ARE ALSO.. DR SHAH GETS IT DONE AND HE ALSO DOES IT WITH SOME CLASS AND RESPECT AS MY HUSBAND HAS MAJOR MEDICAL ISSUES..AND WE BOTH APPRECIATE HOW HE NOT ONLY TREATS ELDER PEOPLE BUT IS COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL..

I recently had an MRI which showed that I had a sinus infection and my primary doctor referred me to Dr. Shah for help with treatment for the sinus infection. Instead after maybe 5 minutes Dr. Shah sent me down the hall to have my hearing checked, which of course I was told that I need hearing aids, which at this time I'm not going to do nor do I need them right now. If I did believe me my family would tell me but they all said "no". I'm really upset that my sinus infection wasn't addressed, which I was so certain that it would be. The neurologist was concerned about it suggested that I get treatment for it but that never happened. The whole experience was a waste of my time and money. I personally think that the doctor's office and the hearing aid company are in cahoots.
It was an honor to meet Dr, Shah and his staff, especially his nurse Debby. He was very personable while being professional and thorough, explaining every detail in lay people terms. Am very pleased that I was given something to do to ease the problem rather than getting a prescription!
Dr. Shah is a very good communicator, took time to explain my diagnosis and clearly outlined my options. Also, I liked him - his personality seems open and he was easy to talk to. Very happy to recommend him!
I am so grateful to Dr. Shah. He literally saved my life. I was suffering from chronic sinus infections for years, struggling to breath properly. When I came to him, he treated me conservatively to start and only diagnosed surgery after other options were exhausted. I think he is great! I continue to see him for a hearing issue and he is understanding and helpful. Great doc. Caring, professional, knowledgeable, I wouldn't go anywhere else. I come home to Utah from just to be cared for by him.
I am so thankful I was treated by Dr. Shah. I can really tell he was very concerned about my nasal congestion which was plaguing me for several years prior to meeting this fine doctor. He performed surgery on my deviated septum and my quality of life has improved exponentially. Dr. Shah get an A+ for being a doctor because he really likes healing people. I wish there were more doctors like him!
A very nice doctor with great experience and I recommend him for all people!
