I had been referred to Dr. Sorkhi for removal of my gall bladder. When I had my consult with him, he was very friendly, direct, answered my questions directly and in terms I could understand. I was scheduled at Rancho Bernardo Surgery Center but then realized I would rather have it done at Palomar since it was closer to home. I asked him if I could and he said he would do my surgery wherever I wanted it done just so I am comfortable. So it was changed which was a huge relief to me. My surgery was only suppose to be a 30-45 minute surgery but ended up 2 hours. I had a very sick gall bladder but he removed it all and I am forever grateful to him. He has a wonderful, caring bedside manner and his staff is exceptional in communication before, during, and after surgery and professional. Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Sorkhi did an excellent job with my excision biopsy. I felt he was open and honest about the risks, but also confident and competent about his skill in performing the procedure. I felt like I was in good hands during the surgery and am now grateful it was not cancerous and the scaring is minimal. Thank you, Dr. Sorkhi!
