I can't say enough about the good experience I have had at Spinezone in Escondido.Under the wonderful care care of Dr Sophia Kankaris and Benito Kare, my nighttime charley horses are no longer happening. My focus was then switched to my lifelong poor posture which was aggravated by a long-ago knee injury. I am much improved after three months of Spinezone help on that issue as well. I am going to keep doing the exercises forever.Thank you Spinezone! I have recommended you to everyone. My sister-in-law is getting help from an Orange County Spinezone office. After four years, no more pain. Nothing more needs to be said. IT WORKS!!!!!!!!
Great program for people with any form of spine injury (neck, upper or lower back). I have been through other programs without great success. This therapy program is really helping me. You don't just sit on heat or ice, you stretch, exercise and get daily videos on home exercises to recover. I HIGHLY recommend them
The SpineZone Physical Therapy facility impressed me from the first moment I entered the building. It was extremely clean and great attention was paid to keeping it that way i.e. after each client left a machine or mat it was sanitized. Masks were worn by all, and social distancing was maintained. I experienced significant improvement after just a few visits. My journey to Spinezone Escondido was preceded by numerous procedures, i.e. ablations and epidurals. None of these worked for me so I visited my primary physician to request some sort of pain relief medication. He recommended the Spinezone and this was the start of my recovery. Through exercises and mindful thought I have found relief, not complete relief as of yet as I am still working on my exercises however my thinking and attitude has improved ten fold. I now know there is relief at the end of the tunnel. This entails a life long commitment to proper exercises which I learned through Spinezone and positive thinking which I too have gleaned from Spinezone through the encouragement of a very professional staff. I am most grateful for being willing to be encouraged to proceed with my program.
I was in a car accident they were great in getting me back to my regular self. All the staffing were friendly. I really enjoyed going there for my physical therapy.
The folks at SpineZone are really kind and helpful. I felt like I benefitted and learned some things from my sessions. The receptionist here is a doll. However, I didn’t like being bounced between physical therapists and not having one dedicated therapist that got to know me and my condition and stuck with me through the training. Not all physical therapists fully understood my condition either; and thus, I received different advice from the various trainers. For example, one physical therapist told me that it was okay for me to run with my condition, when based upon other therapists, doctors, and everything my research has told me… that’s a huge no. I am doing one-on-one pilates now, and I feel that my Pilates instructor understands my spine and my condition more than some of the therapists here and that I’m benefitting more from the pilates sessions Plus the sessions at SpineZone sew very brief at 30 min each. 30 min isn’t really a lot of time for discussions, instruction, and exercising; but that seems to be the industry standard. When you bounce between therapists, you also need time to catch them up with info from your previous session each time. I hated having to wear my mask while exercising. I was gasping for air, and it was distracting. I think they are okay, but they have the potential to be great with s few more tweaks. The folks at SpineZone are really kind and helpful. The Spine Zone and its therapists are outstanding. I was referred to them through my Scripps physician and they performed wonders. My doctor thought I had sciatica, but after being evaluated by Spine Zone's extremely competent team, it was determined the pain was coming from a hip issue. Additional evaluation determined it was not a joint issue, but a muscular issue. They prescribed a number of daily exercises which I was reminded of through daily text messages. After several months of therapy, guidance, exercises, and re-evaluations, I am relieved of most of the discomfort. Their team is absolutely the best. I can't rate them high enough.
The evaluation was thorough and effective. I can't wait to come back and begin recovering with such a knowledgable staff.
I received Physical Therapy for the past 3 months for lower back and neck pain and very pleased with the results. My therapist was Vishal Mathur. He did an excellent job (remotely) accessing my pain and assigning exercises on a weekly basis. I am now completely pain free and feel better than I have for months. Thanks so much.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
