Dr. Knutson did a fantastic job regarding my recent hip replacement, including all pre-op appointment meetings, the surgery itself and post-op appointments. I was very nervous about having the surgery but he put me at ease and now I wish I would have had the procedure done many years ago. I highly recommend him to anyone considering hip and joint surgery.

Wherever I go, people are amazed at how quickly I am recovering from my second knee replacement surgery. When I tell them that Dr. Knutson is my surgeon, the response is always the same. Everyone says that Dr. Knutson is the only surgeon to go to!

Dr. Knutson did my knee replacement (I've already had 2 done previously on my left knee) and my new right knee is feeling so much better. My scar is almost invisible compared to my left. Couldn't be more thrilled.

San Diego doctors refer to Dr. Knutson as the "Rock Star of Knee Replacements". After our knee replacements, my friends and I totally agree. He also replaced my hip and mother and sister's hips. Dr. Knutson is one of very few doctors in the area that perform anterior hip replacement which eliminates cutting through muscles and a long scar on the back of the leg. If you're not sure about a surgical joint replacement, don't expect Dr. Knutson to talk you into it. He's primarily interested in supporting the best interest of his patients. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he doesn't retire before any future knee or hip replacements!

From the first visit through the surgery and follow-up appointments, it was very evident Dr. Knutson is a total professional and very good at what he does. Prior to surgery, we discussed the imaging findings, symptoms, and the options available. On the day of surgery, I was confident I was in the right hands for this surgery. I am getting stronger and thanks to Dr. Knutson I am doing things I had a hard time doing before my surgery. I would recommend Dr Knutson to anyone needing a hip replacement.

It all went well, I was able to come home the same day I had my surgery. I was more in pain than when I had my right knee surgery. It has taken a little more time to recover but at the end, it will have paid off.

Professional, courtesy, comforting,. and experienced. I've seen other Doctors and there egos and money was the first thing on their mind but when I met Dr Knutson I knew right away he was more about the patient there wellbeing not his!! I cried when he said not to worry I got you!!
