List of Amy Stone's Reviews
Outstanding: She’s bright, caring,a top notch physician
I am an 82 male with some degenerate back and leg muscle issues. Dr. Stone and her technician performed an EGM exam on me this morning. This is the third time she has examined me and I appreciate her frank comments following my exam. She took extra time answering tough questions, that needed answers. I recommend her to anyone who wants a detailed candid assessment of their medical situation. Joseph Libby Fairfax, VA 22032
My experience with Dr. Stone was very positive. She is extremely smart, very nice, and very articulate. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Dr. Stone and her staff were prompt (did not have to wait even 1 minute), professional, pleasant and effective. Dr. Stone in particular was good at explaining the procedure, never made me feel rushed, and provided excellent patient service
I have been seeing alot of doctors and healthy care providers over the last 6 months. Dr. Stone was competent, pleasant, answered all of my questions, and did not make me feel rushed. This was by far the best appointment I have had over the 6 months of treatment.
I was referred to Dr. Stone by a preeminent neurosurgeon for an EMG of my legs. Her assessment was that I had fifth lumbar nerve compression affecting only my right leg. She sent her report to the orthopedic surgeon I consulted and the neurosurgeon. Taking into consideration Dr. Stone’s expert evaluation, he recommended multilevel nerve compression surgery only on the right side. Dr. Stone saved me from months of recovery from multilevel spinal fusion surgery which was the orthopedic surgery option. I had an operation at the end of July. I went back to work the following Monday. Adding to my positive experience with Dr. Stone was my interaction with the staff and observations about the office - a sizable practice. All staff I encountered were knowledgeable and get high marks for patient care. Dr. Stone and her practice receive my highest recommendation.
Missed several opportunities to diagnose a life threatening condition. Her BFF works at my insurance company but we could never get tests authorized. I had to research and request tests that ultimately showed some issues. Quality of treatment has declined over the years. Her and her staff seem more concerned with money and payment than they do about helping. I've ALWAYS paid my bills.
Botox treatments for chronic migraines from Dr. Stone have given me my life back. I have gone from experiencing 3-5 a week to 2 mild ones a month. Moreover, Dr. Stone's personal care and attention, remembering the small details of my life during my visits, makes me feel like a 'real person' and not just 'another body' as I'd experienced with my previous neurologist. After several years under her care, I couldn’t be happier. In addition, the practice is run like a Swiss watch -never a wait, very efficient.
Another doctor who spends little time with you, does not think outside of the box, merely throws medication at you rather than taking adequate time to decipher the underlying issue and makes you wait weeks for test results, despite extreme discomfort. Also greatly lacking in empathy. don’t waste your time unless you have a very straightforward problem

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
