Dr. Adkins is very thorough and asked questions that my previous doctor did not. She genuinely takes her time and cares about her patients. I have a chronic illness that was not in control for 3 years, she got it under control. I really appreciate her!

Dr. Adkins has shown herself to be a very knowledgeable and caring doctor. I appreciate her valuable insight on health and nutrition and her compassion to help people. I feel very comfortable and in good care with her as my healthcare expert and I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for an awesome doctor.

One of the worst primary physician i ever wasted my time on. They don’t care, the dismiss your problems. And they do the lest possible to help you. The want sick care not health care. Disappointed.

Dr. Adkins seems knowledgeable but I found her to be one of the rudest and most uncaring doctors I've met with. She made me feel that my questions were stupid which I didn't appreciate (I already hate going to the doctor). Also, once I came in with a minor symptom and the first question she asked me was if a particular type of cancer runs in my family. That may have been a reasonable question but I, personally, felt it was a bit far for a first time symptom and the way she asked was so callused.

Dr. Adkins is very standoffish and not very compassionate. She acts as if you are a bother and wants you out as soon as possible. I changed doctors quickly.

Dismissive, condescending, acts like I'm wasting her time every time I see her or communicate through the patient portal. Will not go again. Do not recommend. Finds time to respond to negative reviews with a canned response, but still will not respond to my message in the portal asking for help.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Adkins for three years. She is caring, listens well, explains in detail and always makes sure you understand any instructions she gives you. She is tenacious in determining what an obscure problem is and a fierce advocate who goes the extra distance for her patients. She also works well with my NorthBay specialists and I’m grateful she’s on my “team”!
