It was a couple of years ago when I saw Dr Almullahassani and I didn’t know much about phone ratings then. But I want to make up for that. I cannot say that I am always a very happy patient when visiting a new Dr. I do not particularly like going to the Dr. in most cases. It always seems rushed, and in many cases I feel like just another mundane moment in a Drs day. A little bit like trying to get that last bite of lunch in before the alarm goes off.But this was different. The Dr was very thorough as others have mentioned but as important was how very informed and comfortable he kept myself as a patient feeling. I felt I was in good hands and my situation was being looked into honestly and communicated openly. I never felt left out of the loop or my need to understand anything further a waste of his time. This is a good Dr with good interpersonal/Dr-patient skills that build confidence and trust in his patients. I highly recommend Dr Ameer Almullahassani.
I went to North Bay Neuro for a nerve conduction test without having met any of the doctors previously. I only spoke with Dr. Almullahassani briefly when he conducted the needle part of the test and gave me a quick synopsis of the whole test. He was very friendly and personable, easy-going, tries to be lighthearted and humorous, and answered my questions. I am often judged due to my size and I didn’t get that dismissive vibe from him at all. While he seemed he was in a hurry to move on and he would be putting his efforts into a report for my PCP, I didn’t feel slighted because his behavior and words seemed to say that while busy, he truly meant it when he offered to answer questions.
Dr.Hassani one of the best neurologist I met. He has been treating me for 8 years. I am very appreciative to have him.
My daughter just had an initial appointment with him. To diagnose what's going on with her and the next steps to see what it is. I loved that he took time with us. Listened to what my daughter and I had to see. He was extremely funny and he had a great interaction with us. Taking a visit that my daughter and I were nervous about and making us feel better knowing our next plan. He is an excellent doctor I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Almullahassani became my doctor in 2017. I’ve been having migraines since I was young (I’m 31 now). I’ve seen multiple neurologists and I’ve never had any luck getting any help for my migraines. Nobody ever listened to me. Dr. Almullahassani made it his mission to find a treatment plan that would help me. He took his time to listen and help me. Amazing neurologist!! Highly recommend.
Met Dr. Almullahassani because of head injury. He never asked how I got it. Never did any kind of function test...none. His phone rang, "I have to take a phone call." Took the phone call while we were in the room and he never even stepped outside. Came back telling us he doesn't prescribe medical marijuana. What?!? I've never done drugs a day in my life and did not ask or allude to that at all. We asked if there was any testing that needed to be done? Nope. Okay see you later that was it. Weird.
I was first introduced to doctor Almullahassani in Dec. 2016 when I had a seizure that hospitalized me at North Bay and he is excellent. I ended up going into early retirement because of my case and now I ended up with individual coverage which is making me nervous as the insurance that I am being forced to take because of all of my other doctors is not taken by doctor Ameer. He s so good that I will need to pay out of pocket for him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
