I am extremely disappointed in the way a simple UTI was handled by my primary (Dr. Ghods) and his nurse practioner as well as his "on call" doctor, Larissa Chartran - who actually HUNG UP ("ended" conversation) while I was explaining to her my predicament.Monday, August 30, I called my primary explaining that I had a UTI and in a few hours, I would be peeing blood (and did). Office insisted on prescribing an antibiotic at which point I QUESTIONED the efficacy of it, as I was quickly in a progressed stage and voiced my concerns. I was prescribed Nitrofuranton. 6 pills. I requested a sulpha drug. I was then told to go to urgent care or ER if the medication didn't work for any further medication.I am 65 and am NOT - during a deadly pandemic - taking myself to ER FOR A UTI!!!I contacted my primary again yesterday, Sept.. 3, as the symptoms were returning, and explained what I was instructed to do in this worse case scenario. I was clearly upset that the doctor put the onus on ME to treat my UTI if the antibiotic didn't work. I needed a different medication - ANY medication before I was peeing blood again. The woman I spoke to yesterday could not reach a nurse practioner and sent an urgent message explaining that I was against the antibiotics treatment but was given it anyway and that I was now on the verge of peeing blood again. She asked that they call me to reach out about medication. After 2 hrs, with no word, I called my primary office again and was connected to the "on call" Dr. Chartran. She listened to why I was in the predicament I was currently in, stated she would not prescribe anything, and said I was taking out my bad experience on HER and abruptly ended the conversation KNOWING I would not be seen until today. That is unacceptable. I will be seeking new primary healthcare.

You are the best, Dr Ghods. Simple as that. Unfortunately, these days, I hardly see him because he's booked out for months .

Dr Ghods is very thorough & attentive. Not all docs are up for the challenge of managing chronic illness but he was very good at coordinating my care. Only left his care because I moved out of state.

I like how Doctor Ghods take care of his patients. He goes above and beyond to make sure I stay healthy. He has been a very good doctor for years! He takes good care of my daughter, granddaughter and me!

I feel like I won the Lotto When I became a patient of DR.GHODS He is excellent, explains everything thoroughly and really takes pride in his practice and shows so much compassion for his patients. Definitely Recommended!

Given that I had literally nearly DIED twice over the course of my life due to misdiagnose, I am extremely diligent in my search for good and CARING and informed doctors. He also utilizes a note taker thereby leaving little room for "forgetting" what the patient said. I do believe I've stuck gold! Dr. Ghods is THE best as the an admirable trait he has is his humble demeanor and ability to admit when he doesn't know and thereby send you elsewhere to a specialist who is more knowledgeable with a specific condition. If there were more stars to give he'd get them!!!

Dr Ghods is the best primary doctor I have had in my life. He listens and is very thorough while you are under his care and never hesitated to refer me to a needed specialist as soon as he feels I need one. I am very lucky to be his patient!

Excellent and courteous. Recognizes me as a person, not just a number. Appreciates my predicament, as well as, applauds my efforts and knowledge about my status. Never have I felt he is rushing me, nor do I feel he isn't interested. Great bedside manner as well as up-to-date on modern advances.
