The nurse practitioner is friendly but I definitely wouldn’t call this place URGENT care because if you don’t have an appointment you can’t be seen and they don’t even always have appointments definitely wouldn’t recommend
**Free covid testing (recreational travel included) at CVS** Charged $85 for a covid test so that I could fly to my uncle's funeral (deemed recreational travel by the urgent care front desk). Talked to my insurance company and told they cover 100% so I called back to the office for a refund. Told by Curt (just so happened to be the man that initially charged me) that they don't bill insurance for travel covid testing, they just bill the patient. Wow! I can't even attend a funeral without being ripped off. I hope Aimee or Konard read this review. I remember Konard walking by my desk to say good morning to Lynn and me from time to time.**UPDATE**the response by Northbay gives a voice mail of someone that never answers or calls back
Let me start of by saying that the staff at this location treated me with respect and kindness.. I had a bad respiratory infection and instead of going to ER and taking up a bed for a real Covid patient I decided to wait it out and instead get a covid test done here.. I scheduled it went in and Alejandro was nothing but kind and helpful. Location was clean the Dr that assisted me took the time to perform the test and also help me with my congestion by prescribing me a very much needed inhaler.. I almost cried I'm pregnant and had been struggling to breath and knew I needed an inhaler but my providing clinic didnt have any immediate appointments and the nurse practitioner couldnt prescribe me anything on my virtual appointment instead she sent me to the ER.. The ER a place for the most in need can you imagine.Anyways I will forever be grateful for my experience there Northbay urgent care was a great experience for me . I had me test results within 2 days
Team B provided tremendous customer service!! Even as a walk-in, they took me in, got my tests done, and everything was super seamless and easy! Everyone showed the utmost concern and patience while providing care! Thank you so much and I hope you all keep up the EXCELLENT work!
Did COVID PCR testing for travel here. Friendly staff and very efficient service. Had the results within 20 minutes. $85 for a COVID test for travel with results in under 30 minutes is a bargain.
The sign on the window says, "Walk Ins Welcome"....What it should say is, "Walk Ins Welcome After 2:00 PM". Walked in and was told to come back in an hour. REALLY??!!
Michelle Lozada NP is just plain great. Been hurting a bit for a month. Teledoc prescribed wrong meds. Saw her this am, I am now fine.I want her to be my primary care person but she is all into this urgent care! Good news for the rest of the area!!Thank you Michelle!!!!
I had a very, very good experience here. I have a complicated medical history and I'm from out of town, so I was worried about going to an unknown urgent care. However, I was able to get an appointment for 15 minutes after I made my initial phone call. The receptionist helped me do intake forms and insurance information, and she was very helpful. NorthBay's office was very clean, and there was plenty of space for social distancing when I was there. I was taken back to see a provider quickly. The healthcare provider was able to quickly (correctly) diagnose what was going on, and then she explained the treatment plan and answered all of my questions. I felt that she knew what she was talking about, and she was able to communicate clearly with me, and I felt respected as a person. I then drove over to CVS and picked up the RX they'd sent over... I think from the time I walked into the urgent care to the time I got my RX was under 90 minutes, which was really impressive. The billing department worked with my insurance and got everything taken care of, so all I had to pay was my co-pay.I would recommend bringing photo ID and your insurance card or insurance information, as that is standard practice for basically every medical office nowadays, and being prepared will help cut down on frustration for both you and the staff. It's probably a good idea to make an appointment by phone or online, that also tends to speed up the process. All in all, I feel very lucky that I chose this urgent care when I was in an unfamiliar town and needed help, and if this clinic was in my city, it would be my go-to in case of emergency.
lm so happy with NorthBay urgent care the doctor who saw me was very nice and pleasant. The staff were so helpful and kind to me.I was very nervous and confused because of anxiety but they were understanding and kind to me after leaving there I felt much better and well help of my needs.Thank you NorthBay urgentvyou were all so great to me. I work in the medical field and being in a doctors office can be scary but they were fast and super nice to me .Thank youLinda
I love this place and its staff and Dr's. This is SUCH a great idea to provide this Urgent Care site. Using the Carbon App to set up and keep track of all your medical info is the BEST !

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
