List of Jeffrey Petersen's Reviews
Dr. Petersen has been my primary care physician for nearly twenty years and I could not be any more confident in his wisdom or comfortable in his care. Dr. Petersen is the most compassionate, considerate, and humble medical doctor that I have known. His personal demeanor and reassuring disposition are powerful tools for patient assurance of well being. Dr. Petersen's professional skills are of the superior variety. He is knowledgeable and up to date on contemporary issues. It is with great conflict of personal interest that I review this stellar physician, as I selfishly do not wish to hinder my access to Dr. Petersen's calendar by spreading the good word of his accomplishments. My better self compels me to do so because, to not, would be to deprive others of Dr. Jeffrey Petersen's notable healing skills.
He is a wonderful doctor. I am 76 years old and he is by far the best doctor I have ever had
Dr Petersen is the BEST! My husband and I have bern going to him for many years. He's kind and listens and does his best to find the best cure for our ailments.
Dr. Petersen has been taking care of my family for years. He is the most genuine, caring and empathetic physician! When my son (26 yr old) was told he would be in a wheelchair by 30, I had him switch doctors, Petersen reviewed his history and I am happy to say within 6 months was back to competitive bowling! He also took on my in laws - When their general practitioner seemed to ignore symptoms, Dr Petersen took over! Turned out both had severe heart issues that were not being treated and both are alive today because of him! Good Bless Great Doctors! They are hard to find!!
Dr. Peterson is the best Dr. I have ever been treated by. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. He does not rush you in and out when you have an appt. He takes the time you need and want in a Dr. I would recommend Dr. Peterson to anyone who is looking for the best Dr. out there. Thank you Dr. Peterson. You are the best. Gary Thomas
I have been a patient for several years, doc peterson is the best I have ever encountered in his field. He is both effecient and caring about his practice and his patients. He has always showed a willingness to go the extra mile in ensuring my well being. For something as important and personal as healthcare is, I consider myself lucky to have such a great doctor!
At my initial visit, to establish care. Dr. Petersen impressed me. He had already reviewed my records from past several months, after having acute, debilitating condition, hospital stay and lots of follow up with with my previous doctor. He listened (really listened) He was personable, yet straightforward as to prognosis. With & without life style changes.
Superficial, bad listening skills, he has to be reminded of who you are and what he is suppose to do. He never remembers what meds he was going to prescribe you and his office does not have a normal chart system. This in turn makes him guess at who you are and what he last saw you for. They state they are high tech with computer charting but that is not true. I think this system is going to get them in some big trouble. You literally have to remind him of everything about who you are and what meds you are taking because he fails to keep a regular charting system! We also spoke to the administrators but beware because this doctor sits on the board of trustees and tries to clean up his own messes!
Dr. Petersen provided a wrong diagnosis, prescribed the wrong medications and then never admitted his own mistake when confronted. All I wanted was my meds for my diabetes and he forgot to prescribe them while giving me an unrelated medication that I didn't need; and then tried to blame me for not taking my diabetic medication that he forgot to subscribe to me in the first place. Be careful before you get duped by his initial superficially nice demeanor. We did and then had to find out the hard way what a terrible and irresponsible doctor he is. Never even apologized after his error was brought to the attention of the hospital administrator!
This is a really good doctor. He is very polite and actually listens. Doesn't make things too complicated.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
