Tried for almost a month to set up a new appointment. Don’t waste your time here unless you want to be disappointed. Looking for another doctor and staff that are willing to help me.

I actually agree with both of the most recent reviews. Dr. Javeed and his nursing staff are remarkable. Lovely people, very attentive, caring, concerned, and constantly watching the patients undergoing infusions. The room is open and it was never a problem to get the attention of a nurse for whatever one might need- a blanket, etc. Dr. Javeed makes it a point to check in with every patient during their infusion time. He also makes it a point to get to know the patients caregivers and something about them. The issue comes with trying to contact the office via telephone. It's rare to actually have the call answered so if the call is about something time-driven, it's highly probable that you may not receive a response within the timeframe needed. For example, I had a video appointment scheduled. A staff member called 45 minutes prior to check me in. I missed the call, called back and got voicemail, left a message, contacted them through the messaging app-no response back and it's now 1 hour after my scheduled appointment time. I'm left to assume I don't have an appointment anymore todah. I understand it's a very dynamic environment at an oncology office but it would be helpful if they had a mechanism to communicate with a patient waiting for an appointment to start. I'm knocking one star off my rating as this type of situation isn't a one-off. If it were not for this, the rating would be more than a 5.

I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. Really nice caring staff and I just love Dr. Kim and appreciate his honesty with me. I came in with stage 3-C ovarian cancer and in September I will have 2years in remission

I've been a patient of Hematology and Oncology Associates since 2021. Dr. Kim provided excellent care, but the office team constantly failed to schedule follow-up appointments and blood work at the Dr.'s request and they constantly failed to return calls. The only reason I stayed was Dr. Kim. When I logged into my account this morning to schedule my appointment because they again failed to return my call, I found out Dr. Kim left back in June. The only notification they sent was via their internal message system that does not link to e-mail to notify patients under his care. I do not recommend this oncology practice to anyone and further suggest you stay clear. I reported the office issues during each visit with Dr. Kim and have seen no improvement to their service from the office team. It does not matter how good the doctors are, oncology is too critical to maintain a dysfunctional office team over a period of 3 years.

Dr Javeed is the kindest and most compassionate person I have ever met. He really cares about his patients and makes you feel like you’re family.. I have felt so at ease with the care I’ve received from the office as well as Dr Javeed..He explains everything in detail and really watches any symptoms as well as your labs. The office personnel is just as compassionate. My nurse Lindsay is wonderful and listens to all my concerns. She is definitely a caring wonderful person who has chosen the perfect profession. If you find yourself in this life altering situation as I have please contact this office. I’ve placed my life in their hands and I’m completely pleased at the outcome. This office is simply amazing

Dr. Javeed's overall treatment center provides a top notch care. Excellent communication via phone and through the portal. Everyone in the office are committed, passionate, dedicated and cares about patients. You are not just another appointment. Poonam, Denah, Lindsey, Nhou, Julia, Kim, Irina, and other staff are amazing people. All my infusion, Lab test, PetScan/CT Scan/MRI, and Doctors appointment are all setup without me having to do the leg work. Dr. Javeed collaborate with a team of expert Oncologist and Surgeon from UCSF Medical Center and put together a solid treatment plan. The team combines 120 years plus of expertise. I am blessed and so greatful to have Dr. Javeed, staff and the UCSF doctors on my side. Highly recommended Oncology medical treatment. 6 months of treatment my tumor marking is now normal and PetScan shows clear. I was a stage 4 cancer patient. God Sent.

Dr. Javeed and his staff were great in getting me through a difficult time of going through chemo. His office staff are very informative and friendly. Even after beating cancer he has checked in consistently every 3 months and set up CT/MRI scans to make sure nothing is coming back. It has given myself and family great peace of mind knowing someone is looking out for my best care.

Dr. Javeed has saved my life by creating a special chemo cocktail for me and my type of cancer. He is attentive to patient's needs. He askes questions and is always caring and understanding. His staff is excellent and as caring as he is, when you visit for treatment, or have to notify them by phone call or text.

Helpful and patient, and I had zero healthcare experience. Clean and professional- if I could I'd give 10⭐️ The Drs know their stuff too.

I appreciate the ladies that work with Dr. Javeed. They help ease the not so fun task of chemo. 😀
