Dr. Sands took my lab results seriously and ordered the proper follow-up care with specialists. She always helped me with paperwork necessary for insurance and other entities. I can't thank her enough!

I want to acknowledge Dr. Sands for her professionalism and providing exceptional healthcare quality services. Dr. Sands and her team go above and beyond to meet patient's needs and address all issues a patient might have. Dr. Sands has been treated me for more than three years, and in my opinion, she earns the best rating doctor accepting Medical/Medicare plans. It is rare to find a caring and knowledgeable doctor, and I got lucky to meet and work towards meeting my needs with an outstanding medical professional.

I was astonished at Dr Sands behavior when I had an appointment this week. I had been to see her once before and had waited 45 minutes the first time. This time I waited almost an hour in the room after vitals were taken. No one in the lobby. I finally went to the front desk to see if anyone would be coming or I was going to leave. She apologized for the wait. I had a few questions to ask re migraines and the side effects of them/medication. I also had a few other health/wellness questions re medication changes and check ups. She stated that normally you can just go over one or two issues. Not four questions. ??? Huh? She was in the room w me literally fir four minutes after keeping me waiting for an hour. I had very simple questions re my health and wellness. I asked if I could ask one more question re a chest ex ray. She said “No” and left the room. 😳 literally four minutes of her time. I waited another ten minutes and no one returned w any paperwork or letting me know to go. It was BIZARRE. Yesterday I got four prescriptions in the mail re the migraine topic. Who or what doctor says you can only discuss one or two concerns in under five minutes? I won’t be returning to her office. It was truly the strangest medical appointment I’ve ever had and I’m in my 50s.

First of all, if I could give NO stars or negative stars, I would. Took me a month to get an appt. to see Dr. Sands and then I was only able to "see" her by phone call. I provided a detailed history and explained my healthcare issue, she ordered many tests--via blood draw, BUT she managed to neglect ordering the tests I actually NEEDED. Took me a month to get into the lab for the blood work, waited an additional 6 weeks for my results--despite the lab having my results the NEXT DAY!!!! All I can think, is thank God I don't have an aggressive cancer or some other life threatening problem or I'd be DEAD before this incompetent physician would order the test needed to diagnose me! Additionally, this doctor says she isn't "comfortable" using a patient's first name--Well, doctor, your PATIENT'S comfort should be your first priority--this isn't about YOU. People don't always like or identify with their surname--like me. If I could get my last name changed, I certainly would, but thanks to COVID, I have to wait...I don't appreciate you using it to address me when I don't like it. Get a clue and put your patients and their comfort/wants/needs first!
