Sutter Urgent Care- Folsom's Online Review Report Card

I live in Roseville, but traveled to this location for an appointment and the service was great. The front desk people were kind and prompt, the medical assistant was really great and the doctor who saw me was also efficient but kind. I was there for suspected (and then confirmed) strep throat. The app made the appointment process/check in super easy, too! The building isn't well-marked from the outside, and I was unfamiliar witht he area, but that's the only area for improvement.

I read the reviews of negativity from a year ago or so. I walked in to have 15 stitches removed from a laceration above my eye. Everyone was friendly and moved me right along. First viewed by Steve Perez PA then a young nurse and was in and out in 30 minutes. I'm a Sutter Health Care patient and I'm very happy with their care given to me. From office visits to major surgery. No complaints from me.

I went there tonight because I have a foot injury. After spending some time in registration ( not a big deal) because the office front desk staff were friendly. I get into a room , they had closed at 8:30. I get put in a room right about 8:30pm. The assistant is taking my vitals and while the blood pressure machine is doing it's thing, Dr. A. Jackson entered the room and while one arm is reading my blood pressure, he starts in on what is wrong, "well take your sock off" . In the meantime I hear the assistant say she wants to take my blood pressure again because it seemed high. Because of his behavior she takes the machine off and exits the room. He didn't touch my foot or even remotely look at it. He then says , you need an x-ray. (No kidding) He then says , I can't do anything more for you than what you are currently doing. Didn't ask what I was doing for treatment but I told him. I had been soaking and taking 800mg of ibuprofen. He then goes into well that's all I would have here. I said "I'm not looking for pain medication, I want to know what is wrong with my foot! We will x-ray, is all he said. I tried to explain my previous injury to my back and a recent work related fall and he didn't care. Walked out, sent assistant in with x-ray referral for tomorrow all in less than 1 minute I believe. What kind of patient care is this? He didn't care, how , where, or possible cause of injury or even what was painful! I am appalled this is care provided by any doctor. I don't go to physicians even once a year and this is exactly why? My x-ray referral also says not to go back to clinic but go back home after my x-rays! Where is my follow up care? What was done for my foot pain? That's correct absolutely nothing. I hope there's no charge as I will definitely have to see a treating physician!

Usually a good place to get things done. Every now and then you get a bad service. Today PA Mellisa Rossi denied me service for something ive been seen for multiple times at this urgent care. I know nothing will be done about this but will be filing a complaint.

Best service ever. I walked in at 6 pm on Thursday evening after a positive Covid test and moderate symptoms. I filled out the short form and was called back in 5 minutes. Nurse took vitals and reviewed history from Sutter System. Doctor came in looked at my throat, listened to my lungs, asked several good questions and prescribed paxlovid. Out if there in a half hour to pick up my prescription at the pharmacy. After 2 doses, immediately felt better. Everybody involved was extraordinary and the service provided was excellent. We are fortunate to have this Urgent Care in our community.

Nicole has provided excellent cust service on two occasions. Very attentive to detail- went the extra mile. The Docs were very thorough and provided outstanding personalized care

I was seen pretty quickly for a walk in. Nice. Knowledgeable.
