Went in for pain for torn ligaments. He ordered MRI, said May take 10 days then make appt. again. It would have taken three weeks to get my first appt. had I not gotten a cancellation, and insisted I was in so much pain I can’t sleep. But here we go again. He also had an extremely irritating way of asking me a question and when 5 words are out of my mouth, he would start talking again. Every. Time. So he really didn’t want to know my answer. How do you learn what is going on with your patient that way?
Don't walk- RUN Away from this Doctor! Worst medical experience I've ever had. I was referred to him for pain in my left knee. An XRAY and a brief physical exam show nothing out of the ordinary, He ordered an MRI. This was in March. The office calls 2 weeks later. Says they need to obtain medical records from a previous knee surgery I had on the other knee. Need to be sure it was safe to do the MRI. I signed the medical information release forms, confirmed his office had them, and scheduled a follow up appointment. Two weeks before the appointment I email twice and call once to confirm the records were received. No response. Show up for appointment to find out we are where we were after the first appointment. I'm in severe pain. I ask for a shot-He refuses. I tell him the composition of the knee replacement in the other knee. Says he'll contact the manufacturer. It's now late June. Still no response. Still pain in knee. Still no MRI. Do yourself a favor- keep looking!
Dr. Allyn was very kind and compassionate about my pain and my situation. He listened and asked appropriate questions. However, he did not offer any pain remedies. I had to ask for medicine. Also, he told me he'd refer me to a rheumatologist. I waited 2 weeks and called. The ladies in the office said they were sending it over as we speak. A month in a half later, still no referral. I finally had to call the other office myself. Luckily I have a PPO insurance and didnt need a referral, it was just recommended. All in all, I was disappointed with my visit

Our appointment was at 11:30. And its all ready 1:30. And were still waiting. Wow. This is the longest I have ever waited to see a Doctor. Ridiculous! !!!!
Dr Allyn did my second hip replacement in 2017. I had no problems with recovery or with the prosthetic joint function since the surgery, other than sometimes the joint "squeaks" when I bend a certain way. As soon as six months post surgery, I was able to hike on trails over terrain of varying elevations, and do various outdoor chores like raking and weedeating without restriction or pain. During office visits, Dr Allyn was friendly and understanding, and I felt confident in his hands concerning the surgery. He also spoke to me briefly right before the surgery, which inspired confidence. I highly recommend Dr Allyn, and doctor, if you are reading this … thank you so much for your care and expertise!
My dad had his surgery FOUR DAYS ago. Every appt was 3 hrs wait (not good) His staff is so unproffecional (adv health hanford) . Specially a girl called Teresa. We had a simple question after the operation and I had to dial FIVE diff numbers and talk to 5 diff people just to ask a simple question about post op. 20 min being transfered. The Dr. is nice but not his staff. Very frustrating.
Good
4 months of visits and everytime it was confusing as to what or if I was going to get any help. I had to beg for cortisone shots for pain management. No other help was offered no meds no brace nothing. I finally got him to agree to a arthoscopy and literally the day I did pre- op labs the office staff called and cancelled the surgery. Told I have to start over again----NO NO NO

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
