List of Hootan Daneshmand's Reviews
Dr. Daneshmand and his team are absolutely wonderful! I am so glad I went back to him after getting a second consultation from another surgeon that was gonna cost DOUBLE. I am so happy with my upper and lower blepharoplasty procedure I had in May. I look 10 years younger and would've been happy with just 5 years taken off. They are all kind and professional. Thank you, Dr. D and staff! The photos I'm sharing are days before surgery, approx 2 months after surgery, and Halloween - 5 months after surgery. Sorry they are out of order. I don't post on yelp much so not too savvy
He’s so mean to patients.last week.I had breast surgery.that was so unprofessional. He is like a butcher not a doctor.
I would not recommend this Dr. for any type of surgery. I went to see Dr.D for a hematoma in my breast. I brought all my test for Dr. to review. Rudely I was told that was a waste time & insurance money. Never was the procedure discussed. NOTHING. A few days later I got a call about the price. I was rudely told to make my mind up. I was thinking this was an big decision and said so. to get authorization for surgery the office did not make it stat. Took14 days to get approval. Meanwhile my breast was has large as a balloon with pain. I found another Dr. was scheduled within a week of seeing him.I have placed a grievance with insurance & my Dr.
I’ve agonized about writing this review for over 2 years but it’s only fair to prospective patients to hear honest reviews in order to make an informed decision about something that is as important as going under the knife of a surgeon. I was referred to this Dr. By my breast surgeon who would be performing my surgery at the same time. I had a bi lateral mastectomy with replacement of breast implants to be done by this Dr. I brushed off his bedside manner as I am an ER Nurse and know that you can still be a brilliant Dr. Even if you are not the most polite person. The surgery was completed and during my post op appointments I had many complaints about the condition of one of my breast. I felt like the Dr just brushed off my concerns. On one appointment I told him that I felt my implant had flipped while during one of my visits he pressed on them really hard to try to release a few of the internal sutures. He denied that the implant was flipped. After examining me my breast Dr sent me for CT. The ct determined that the implant was intact but didn’t determine the placement. I could literally see that the back of the implant was now in the front. The Dr continued to deny this. I then went to a second surgeon and he ended up having to remove the implants and replace with slightly larger ones to try to fix the damage that the previous implant had done by flipping. That surgeon confirmed what I already knew that the implant had intact been flipped. I was so disappointed with the treatment that this Dr. gave me but I didn’t even believe it would help to let him know that what I said was confirmed in a surgery to repair his messy work. I also remember asking for pain medication due to the condition of my breast being to painful “just in case” I needed it and he treated me like I was drug seeking yet I have zero history and don’t even like taking any type of meds as it is. If this review helps even one person to avoid anything like I went through with this sub par surgeon I will be grateful.
I will never forget the words Dr. D said to me at my consultation for implant surgery, 22 yrs ago, which was, "Do you want men to look at you and appreciate your body or do you want to be viewed as an object?" It was at that very moment I knew I had met the best plastic surgeon in Orange County. Fast fwd, post surgery and 22 years later, I still have the same implants and I can honestly say, I am just as pleased today as I was 22 years ago. Dr. D you truly are one of a kind, your skillset and talent is nothing short of the best of the best and when and if that day comes for my implants to be redone, there will be no questions as to who I will be calling.
The staff was nice and friendly, especially Miss. Parva.Dr. Daneshmand is rude, does what he wants, never explains anything entirely to you, he never gave me an option nor told me the pros and cons of different types of arm lift surgery. has NO patience, and interrupts you constantly. The bottom line is you are just another $ sign to him. He messed up my Aremlift surgery and after complaining to him, he said I'll fix it for you ( NOT FOR FREE ).I have seen his jobs on tummy tuck and was hoping to get the same positive results. He cut under my armpits and did a Horrible job of stitches and left all the extra skin. Now If I have to pay again to get my arms fixed, I rather go to another surgeon who knows what he is doing.
Believe the negative reviews and stay far away from this doctor. He is inpatient, unprofessional, and rude. Does not take responsibility for his own actions and blamesthe patient. Good luck asking a question and getting a an answer. Doesn't even say hi to you. He literally spent less than 2 minutes with us during consultation and then opened the door and walked away. He claims he is not GOD and whatever happens to you after the plastic surgery depends on how reasonable you are with the end result. He also blames COVID and how busy he is. I don't know about you but if I'm having someone cut me open and get cosmetic work done, I would like to make sure he or she can be trusted and is a professional. This doctor is definitely not what you expect from a plastic surgeon. Felt more like speaking to a car dealer during consultation than anything else. Rushed and rude.
This is the last place that you want to visit if you really care for your health or even your beauty because this Dr does NOT care at all. I took my mom to see if she can remove a cyst from her forehead, this Dr walked in, No Hi or anything, asking my mom what do you like to do. We asked him: what do you think we should do as a Dr.His answer : I'm not a God. I don't know. We asked him: does the area going to have the scars after the surgery? His response: I'm not a God. Maybe. I don't know. He did not even spent 2 min to check the area or have any opinions as a Dr. This guy all he cares is collecting money from the insurance companies which I am calling the insurance company also. Do yourself a favor and visit a Dr who truly cares for you, spent time to answer your questions and most importantly have an opinion as a Dr instead of someone who is only looking to get money from you!Stop Collecting People's money if you don't know what you doing!
Excellent service, great Dr and staff and my breast look amazing.
Jessica and the doctor were very nice. The lady that handles the insurance is very rude. Why take insurance for a consultation if you aren't going to take it for the surgery, that is medically necessary? This is not a cosmetic surgery for me. The insurance lady blamed it in the doctor & he said he doesn't do anything with the insurance. She kept telling me over & over how busy he is & doesn't have time to do surgeries for insurance.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
