List of Providence Health & Services's Reviews
The experience coming here has been amazing. The staff is so caring. I felt like family.
Horrible wait time at 8 am. Lazy people. Not to mention them having 2 beds open but not calling anyone back for over 2 hours
Got very good care from the hospital after a car accident a year ago in July.
I’m staying at the hospital for a prolonged period of pain and I’ve discovered that not all nurses are nice. I don’t know if it’s a personality issue or if I’m over sensitive to some people’s words. I wish that some of the nurses could take some sensitivity lessons and not be so judgmental walking their moral high ground. When people are in the hospital suffering, it takes a toll emotionally and it’s really not that hard to be kind and less judgmental.
Terrible terrible care, waited for 6 hours and was told I had acid reflux, and was sent home. Turns out I had gallstones! If my sister can diagnose me just by what im describing, why couldn't they? She doesnt have medical experience... but these guys cant figure it out...
Updated * Once they got me in, the nurses are amazing in the back! They have been darting around and giving their all! Love the nursing staff!! The wait still needs work.I have now been waiting 7.5 hours to be seen with severe abdominal pain. Crying in the waiting room. Not once has a nurse or any part of the staff come to check on me or explain why the long wait. The nurse answering the emergency room window is super rude and has a complete lack of sympathy. I had to go find a couch to lay down because after 6 hours waiting in the waiting room chairs. My pain was unbearable. I went and found a couch and broke down crying again. I drove 45 minutes from home. My almost 70 year old mom. Is currently still waiting in her car. Total lack of service and/or care.....
The least hustle and laziest hospital I have been too. The staff usually is just sitting chatting and taking their sweet time. I swear this place is a torture chamber, everytime I leave I feel worse.
All these reviews don’t make sense. Like police, hospitals never get good reviews either.Just understand that many work long hours, many are under a lot of pressure and stress. It’s not an easy job you walk into like a gas station. Hospitals are also limited to number of beds in ER and such availability. We are very sorry that you couldn’t be seen quicker. The long waits are due to ER filled up with beds and we must treat patients before letting them go, if a bum wants to be warm in ER and gets seen, it’s a waste of a bed for you.... it’s not just the hospital. It’s people being seen that don’t need anything besides a place to stay out of the cold. It’s not the hospital. Respect that please.
Daughter got a sonogram yesterday. This morning she couldn’t figure out why her stomach hurt. She has bruises where the lady was pushing so hard!!!!! Should have to push that hard to see what’s going on!
The ER is HORRIBLE! They treat people terribly, serious lack of compassion and bedside manners. I advise you to drive the extra Miles, and go to St Joseph’s in Eureka. Much better care and treatment... and they won’t leave you sitting in a waiting room for 6 hours either.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
