I met the doctor only once during my first consultation and he was patient and friendly. I had 4 PRP appointments after that and the nurse who did it was great. Always friendly, talkative, and made the process enjoyable. However, front of house staff is quite rude. They are the face of the office and the first point of contact and their customer service need improvement

This is a great place! Dr. Canales is friendly and very knowledgeable. He spent a long time explaining what he could do for me and answering my questions. I booked a date but then encountered a personal issue that forced me to cancel the appointment. Dr. Canales & his staff were very kind & understanding, and even refunded my deposit which I had not expected them to do. Highly recommended!

This is a great place! Dr. Canales is friendly and very informative. He went through what he could do for me and why some approaches are better than others. I had all my questions answered. Unfortunately I had a change in personal circumstances that forced me to cancel the scheduled procedure less than 2 weeks before the date. The staff and doctor were very understanding and kind, and they even refunded the deposit I had put down, which I did not expect. All around I'm very impressed with Silicon Valley Hair Institute and will definitely go back to them when my circumstances (hopefully) change.

Dr. Canales is unbelievable! He really changed my life and made me look longer with healthier and fuller hair. He is a skilled surgeon and very personable. He made the procedure easy and comfortable. I have had so many positive comments since having the procedure done. I highly recommend him and know you will be pleased with the results.

It's been a little over a year since I had a hair restoration with Dr Canales. The results are amazing. The new grafts are all stable and I like the way they look, very homogeneous, uniform and natural look. The surgery itself was rather convenient with great service and really respectful staff. Also all the instructions after the surgery were clear and straightforward to follow. Within 4 months I could see some results and after 6 months I started seeing a completely different look.

I did the FUE procedure with 3500 hairs and it was great. I saw many doctors before and Dr. Canales was the only one that really sat down looked at my hair all the way down to the follicles to give me the best recommendation. The procedure was a whole day but it was definitely worth it. Now one year after my surgery I'm so happy that I did it. Was worth every penny!!

I had the FUT procedure in 2022 with Dr Canales and I could not be more pleased. From the original intake/assessment, his perfect guidance and recommended approach, down to the day of the procedure, everything was first class. The day of the procedure I was treated with tremendous care, was communicated to throughout the process and the whole team made me feel very confident and comfortable. Post procedure, Dr Canales shared his cell phone number, communicated w/ me consistently and answered every question I had for days and weeks almost instantly at various times through the day and night. All of the post-op procedures were spot on, and if you follow Dr Canales' instruction, I'm fully confident that you will have a very positive experience as I did. I opted for the PRP procedures after my surgery through the next several months, and Laurent was equally knowledgeable, skilled and always makes sure my experience is positive and productive. I lamented over doing this for many years and I could not be more pleased with my experience and the ultimate outcome. I'm 6-7 months in and am delighted with my results thus far. I can't recommend Dr Canales and his team enough!

Terrible place only interested in your money. Will sell you a graph first, then tell you you have to take a bunch of drugs and come for shots every month to keep your hair. But they won't tell you that up front. Also, won't tell you side effects of drugs. Dr actually told me the drug was good at preventing prostate cancer in addition to growing hair but come to find out from the pharmacist that it can cause severe prostate cancer. Fun.
