This review is for the IRVINE location. Absolutely horrible experience. I had my holster monitor done twice because they lost my results. Meanwhile I couldn't even work or function and was going to ER every day spending so much money. I had to drive to that office to redo the test and they LOST IT AGAIN. Took me two months to receive results and when I called and spoke with Kat she made sure I knew that it was really her I needed to feel sorry for because she couldn't get ahold of dr Patel (even though he is physically in the office everyday and she can literally just walk up to him and ask him a question) I'm sorry Kat. I do not feel sorry for you. The absolute horror I've gone through with the heart issues and you're the one looking for sympathy? Never. They promised to fast track my results and I guess that means make sure I never receive them. Another person in the office asked how long for his holster results and they said "oh you will have them on MyChart within the week" then they lied to me to tell me that they usually take months to receive. Then when they finally got my results they had Kat who isn't even qualified to be a nurse deliver my results. Can't ask any questions because she isn't qualified but she can give me my results. So now I need to seek a second option because of how horrific and unprofessional this has been.
Dr. Yang is an AMAZING cardiologist. He's friendly, takes his time with you, and makes sure all of your questions are answered. THE FRONT DESK, HOWEVER, is appalling. While trying to check in for my appointment, I had to stand and wait while 3 workers chatted with each other about non-work related things. When I walked in, she asked for my name, then immediately turned back to her co-worker and continued gossiping before I could even answer. Thankfully, the sweet lady beside them who was actually doing her job, got up and finished checking me in. The lady who originally "helped" me, saw this and nonchalantly said, "Oh! I'm sorry - have a seat and someone will call you". It's really shocking that nothing has been done about the front desk even with all these negative reviews...
The front desk at their Irvine office is very rude!!!!! I wish they could trest their patients better. They took a patient before my son even we came in before another patient and quick tk say we were late 30 minutes when we are already in the waiting area and logged in their check in log. Sooooo rudeee!!!!! Her name is Kat.
The doctors and staff are really friendly, they let you know what to expect with the stress test. My only complaint is the appointment reminder that they text you it has no address on it, I have multiple doctors offices I have to go to and tracking down where they were was a chore.
I should have written this review, after my heart op (thoracic aorta surgery) but i got so busy recovering & just having fun afterwards, with my wonderful Heart Surgeon from Hoag giving me a wonderful new life and my Dr El Sayed excellently took care of the cardio part, she is a great doctor & easy to talk to, love her to death, missed her a lot during covid but she & her staff keep me updated with meds & visits. I know how hard it is to go thru heart problems, operations & recovery but I found the staff, nurses and Dr Assistant all wonderful, respectful & very easy to talk to, I'm writing this now because I noticed some of the complaints, if you are looking for the problem you will find it, when I go visit Dr ElSayed, I looked & admire her easy going style yet very professional & intelligent simple response to my questions, so lets give them all a break they too are humans who has the same problem like us. Thanks, from O Saint Costa Mesa, CA I dont know this Lee H, but kept showing as user on my review!
20 years ago Dr Nirula put a stents into my bifurcated LAD. Made an f/u appt in early am. Waited 1hr. And Dr. Nirula finally showed up. Had to work as I didn't want to be late for my patients. 20 years later I figured I'd give him another try. Showed up for my 3:45 appt as a new patient. Told reception desk person that I was there early for my 3:45 appt. Filled out my paperwork and patiently waited till 4:45. Went to reception desk and said that I will be leaving. She then said that your appointment was at 4:45. Then asked if my appointment was at 4:45 why didn't you tell me that when I checked in. She told me that most people know when their appointment is. ( I am positive that I was scheduled for 3:45 as I put it into my phone w/ address and repeated it back to the receptionist when I scheduled). My usual rule is to leave if I am not seen within 30 min of my appt time. As a dentist (retired) I would always apologize if I was 5 minutes late for my next patient. When a Doctor over schedules they are basically making the assumption that their time is more important than yours. I'm not sure if Dr Nirula is a good or bad as in atleast two attempts I have not been able to see him. The front desk needs more help or better people skills or both. I won't be back.
The only reason we come here is because Dr. Donohue is amazing. She's knowledgeable, professional, & kind. The front desk is totally opposite. They are rude and unprofessional. Never return phone calls to follow up with authorization as they promised. You have to wait on the lines for so long if you're calling them or at your appointment. I hope the manager read this so they could make some changes in management. People come here already have health issues, so please give them some respect & empathy.
Front desk are so rude, especially Yesenia. She has one of the worst attitudes I've ever encountered, she should not be working in customer service. Oh and if you try calling 30 mins before closing, they won't pick up. What a joke.

Don't go to this doctor unless you have tons of spare time. You will be kept waiting long after your appointment. Horrible Office staff. Avoid!

Dr. Greenfield is the best! He has a wonderful bedside manner and cares about his patients. I would give him more stars if possible
My husband has been followed by Dr Patel for three years after experiencing a heart attack. Dr Patel was on call for the Emergency Room at Orange Coast Memorial Hospital and was so very impressive. He was then, and has continued to be, knowledgeable and compassionate. His calm demeanor has helped put issues into a good perspective. Initially, he could have benefitted himself and the hospital financially by doing an emergency procedure but decided after taking in a full history not to proceed in that way. Since that initial meeting, he has only ordered tests and medications when necessary. I would highly recommend the whole office.
This review is for Dr. Amanda Donohue and Echo Tech Veronica.Firstly Dr Donohue is amazing, she's so friendly and makes you feel 100% comfortable regardless of how scary first visits are. Her sense of humor and overall demeanor was professional and made me feel cared for.Secondly, Veronica did an amazing job of making me feel welcomed and safe during my echocardiogram. It's not often you find an office where everyone is pleasant and kind. I'm thankful I found this office.
This review is long overdue. My Mom has been seeing Dr Schiff for over 20 years, he is an extremely compassionate and knowledgable Cardiologist. I deal with many specialists and his front office staff is top notch, they always answer the phone and field questions and appointments in a timely and professional manner. We needed an emergency appointment during the Covid-19 epidemic and we were promptly set up with a teleconferencing call with Dr Schiff, My Mom and I are forever grateful for his continued care during these difficult times.
I had to have some testing done today and was very anxious about the process and what might be revealed. I do not know the job title of the gentleman who did the testing, his name is Ron. He was very knowledgeable about the process, how to explain it terms I would understand, what I would experience and questions I might have. He was very carinG and supportive in the most professional way. He should be teaching everyone what health CARE is but I'm glad he was on the front line providing it today. I hope California Heart Associates know the gem they have in him.
Rude rude rude.Cat, the office assistant in the Irvine location who answered the phone, must have had a furball because she was rude, disrespectful and had a rude tone. I'll take my business elsewhere. You should too.
Dr Donohue is the best we have ever had as a cardiologist! She is caring and attentive to my husband's needs and any questions we have. When we leave, we get notes on whatever that day's discussion was, any changes that were made and a current list of medications. Her office was pretty busy today, which was unusual that we had much of a wait. However, it is worth any wait if the doctor is willing to spend whatever time she needs. We HIGHLY recommend them!
I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Nikhik P. Warrier, M.D., and after I set the time aside for the appointment which included making arrangements to honor my appointment time as well as the physician's time I get a call from the physician's office the day before about cancellation of the appointment and to reschedule. This is completely unacceptable and highly inconsiderate not to mention extremely rude. This physician could benefit to take a course on patient and customer care. In my view I give Dr. Warrier a grade of "F" on customer/patient consideration and care. I will make sure that from now on that I will not recommend this clinic to any of my friends and associates. The right thing to do for this medical professional is to call me personally with ample time to reschedule and to apologize for the rude inconvenience which caused me to go back to the starting point of setting the time aside and rearrange my schedule to seek medical care from this inconsiderate medical professional. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. I have no other option but to simply say that your clinic failed in providing consideration for patients regarding scheduling of appointments.
good I have been going to his office for almost 2 years he is a great Dr.
